There have been a couple of groups started. One is on the knitting and crochet community site called Ravelry. If you are a member there you can got to http://www.ravelry.com/groups/lawrence-king-memorial-group - Lawrence King Memorial group or go to the http://lawrencekingmemorialgroup.blogspot.com/ - Lawrence King Memorial Group Blog if you do not have access to the Ravelry Site.
Lawrence was a charitable young man who loved the soldiers. He wanted to do something so donated scarves. I am unsure as to which groups that he donated to, however I have found two groups on the net that donate scarves to the soldiers. We are putting together a comfortghan for Mrs. King, patterns are on the blog and on the Ravelry group. I was inspired because my son and step-son have been bullied because they are different. It has been an ongoing issue that culminated into a home invasion last week.
Please let Mrs. King know that the family is in our hearts and prayers.
