I think the whole situation is rediculous. I'm not gay but have many friends who are. People should be able to be themselve without retribution. the schools should come up with new plans. We are entering a new era of diversity and people should respect that

im really sorry to know that things like this can happen in our world, and as i was reaing the stry my heart was felling sad just by knowing that larry still had a lot to live, and his life was taken just for his sexuallity, is horrible how things like this can happen, and i hope that someday our GOD will take all this violence, and hate away, im sure larry was a great person, and by looking at the slideshow of his pictures i saw a kid full of joy and life that had a lot to give, learn, and i just know that now he is at a better place, and wherever he is, he is happy knowing that he will never be forgotten by those who love him , and that his story will touch thousands of hearts!

This story hurts me so deeply. I cannot imagine how things like this happen in the world and it truly weakens my hope in humanity. I just pray that we can one day come to realize that everyone is beautifully different and entitled to the right to be themselves. It is painful to think that someone who has achieved the sense of self this child has must die for it.
My love goes to the family and all of those who this story has touched.
I pray that we all are brave enough to be ourselves without shame or judgement.

Dear King family, i am very sorry to hear about you're lost. I personaliy do not think that any one should be judged or killed because of there sexuality. We all have the freedom to be who ever we want to be there is no law that states someone can't be gay and so people should not be so bothered by it. Cause we are all humans no matter what we are all created eqal no matter what you're sexuality is.

I have read this story with such sadness and disbelief that everyone is looking for someone to blame in the death of this beautiful child. To the King family, be proud that your son had the courage to be who he thought he was. You gave him a life that assured him he felt ok just being him. Ignorance brings intolerance. I have lived through and beyond it. There is no excuse for a misfortune like this to happen. The blame is stricly on the person who took this child away from those he loved and loved him.
May God protect others who face situations such as this. And, may God guide you and protect you, the King family, from further ridicule of the ignorant of others.

Dear King Family,
I cannot believe I just heard about this awful act of violence until July, when it happened in February. I am so deeply moved by your courage and the courage Larry had for being who he was. So many people do not know who they are and walk this earth living a lie. I am sure Larry is watching over you and glowing in the love that everyone is feeling for him.
It is always the ones left behind that the loss is so deep. Remember who he was and how his life will change the world.
Sincerely,
Glenn Stewart

So sad, my heart goes out to you. Why can't we all live together in harmony? What a beautiful smile he had.

This tragic story touched me deeply. As a mother I wouldn't care about my son's sexual preferences. I would love him anyway. Being gay, if Larry really was, is not a fact to be punished for. He maybe just needed to be loved for everyone around him and feel it. Rest in peace, Larry and from Heaven, because I know you're there, take care of your family and give them the strength they need to cope with your absence.
