This was one of our brothers....
arms opened wide... love to you... may you find your peace... may your smile brighten our hearts. May we continue to strive to make this world one step closer to acceptance. May your family recall your love, your joy and your presence every day. One day, one day we all shall be free to be...free to love...free to be who we were born to be without hesitation without fear.
Bless you Larry.

this post goes to larry:
Your in my heart...im about your age, i feel the hate everyday, i feel the hate you felt. I might not know you personally, but i know that you will never die. Your memory will live on, in my mind, in my heart, in my soul, in everyone. Don't give up hope larry, one day the hate will stop, but your memory will going on FOREVER. Larry, you don't deserve this, you don't need this, you have rights, you have a mind, but the blind souled will never know how amazing you are. Keep your smile going, keep your hope up, we'll beat this...Together

Larry, you will never be forgotten

When I heard about this, i was so mad, so angry because it was a hate crime. Growing up in such a small town like mine, i never really knew all the things hate does to people. im so happy(thats not the word i want to use but i just can't think of another word) that someone made this website. Because he will never be forgotten, hes made an impact in all of our lives. It made the homophobics somewhat open their eyes, and see that even though they don't approve of homosexuality, it doesn't mean a 15 year old boy should die. Being bisexual i know the feeling of be hated, i know the feeling of rejection. Thats why i will always remember Larry King, cause no one, no one deserves to die because of their sexuality. Don't put Larry in the back of your mind, cause he is one of the many being hated, being hurt because of who they are. Hate must be the new black, good thing i don't pay attention to fashion, right?

I am just now commenting because I only heard of this tragic story recently. I don't recall seeing any news footage in my area. I am deeply saddened that another person, especially a child, has been killed for being true to himself. Society promotes so much violence in video games and movies and tv. When I was a teen and had to get glasses I was called four eyes and such but I never wanted to kill someone for it. I wonder if the adults and parents who say this kid brought it on himself for dressing inappropriately would say that if it was their child who had been murdered!?! Even though I never met Lawrence King he will always have a special place in my heart!

Still since your tragic loss, im greatly affected by this story. Growing up homosexual, was the most hardest thing i've had to go through in middle school , its a shame to know that there are still to this day people out there that judge and hate. Stories like this, are the reasoning why us Gays are scared to hold hands in public, scared to give affection in public, scared to just be ourselves 100%. When will this stop? My heart goes out to the family, and to Larry, and may he shed light and protection on the people out there that are affected by acts of hate and judgment. I have great love , respect, and admiration for Larry. Though me being older than larry I look up to him , for the simple fact that he was not afraid to be himself. And I will always love and respect that .

I live in SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY- 2 counties away from Ventura County. THERE WAS ALMOST NO MEDIA COVERAGE IN SLO COUNTY OF THIS HATE CRIME. I have many, many thoughts about this horrible tragedy, but this is not the site for them. Larry, I pray that you will not be forgotten. I pray that you have found eternal peace & now finally have a permanent home where you are surrounded by love & acceptance. I pray that you are now able to "let your guard down" - & FEEL SAFE - & be your genuine & authentic self- without fear, without any fear. "In the arms of the angels."
