Ever since Saturday night when I watched "Valintine road" I can not stop thinking of Larry. The way he died was so sad. I almost feel like he's a part of me... It's Tuesday and I'm still thinking. R.I.P. Larry

I just watch the HBO documentary of Larrys I couldn't understand why he only got twenty one years and it wasn't considered a hate crime. I thought that was very wrong. I thought the show showed that Larry was a wonderful .person

I was instantly touched by Larry's spirit, and those of his dearest friends; in particular, Mariah and Marina, his teacher, his lawyer, and his housemate. Larry, we all know you're in Heaven, and not for one second should you nor any of your loved ones pay attention to those wearing "Save Brandon" bracelets; you, too, suffered in your childhood, but instead found the courage to express who you were; you encountered abuse and difficulty, but you only expressed love and acceptance and a downright pride in who you were. You may have saved another child's life with your story; touched someone's heart who would have hurt another person as you were hurt. Thank you, Larry, for coming out and being who you were. It only comes from fear-Brandon was afraid of you. His supporters are afraid of what they don't understand. If it had been their child that they reported dead; would their hearts be so hardened then?
Keep on shining up in Heaven. I'll be glad to meet you someday.

I, like many, was just informed about this horrific tragedy by the documentary Valentine Road. I know first and foremost I will not forget Latisha and her struggle to be who she was in a time of confusion for all young people with little to no adult guidance. I don't really know what to say other than we need to let the older generation die out and hope that the next generation will be more like the kids in the documentary. It is sad the way older people think anyone would choose to be lgbt, and I say that only because of the difficulty of life, from not having marriage benefits, hospital rights, all of the legal/tax disadvantages set up by our system and most of all the extreme judgement cast upon you by the ignorant masses. Sounds like fun. Much more education needs to be spread on tolerance and simply science in general. An LGBT person controls their genetics as much as anyone, it's like blaming a person for having too much melatonin in their skin.
