I am the same age as lawrance and I couldn't believe what had happened. Same of my friends at school that were participating in the day of silence showed me a piece of paper explaining it and we as a group did not speark for the rest of the day. Everyone was very understanding of it and were happy that we did it. I think it be a good idea to hold another Day Of Silence to see how meny more people we can reach out to.Please notify me at Sethditto@aol.com if you do so!

Oh my God. This is a true tragedy.
This should never happen.
Larry didn't deserve that awful cruelty.
I didn't know him personally but I feel sadness and I do regret that no body could save him from his death.
I hate every single H.F. on this planet.
I won't forgive them, never, and I will Remember him for the rest of my live.
Rest in piece dear Larry. I promise you I will try with all my heart & soul, change world. Maybe just a little bit, but I will try my best.

Yesterday a group of people from Trojmiasto, Poland, took part in The Day of Silence in memory of Lawrence. It's beyond my imagination what happened to Lawrence. I can't understand how could it happened. My condolences to the King family. My thoughts are with you.

As a parent of a openly gay teenager,my heart goes out to the King family. I constantly worry about my son when he goes out of the house because of his sexuality. We as a people need to wake up and realize it's not ok to hurt or kill anybody, regardless of their race or sexuality! We love who we love and it's time for us to start LOVING one another. R.I.P Larry, the world missed out on an chance to meet a wonderful human being!!

I am a Lesbian. And I have been out with it for about a year now. When I heard Larrys story I was SHOCKED!! This world has SO many issues. I have been put down for being a lesbian. But, it makes me strong. I give Larry MAJOR props for coming out at the age of Fifteen. And not afriad to show who he really was. My blessings is with the King family. And friends. God Bless.
P.S. Hopefully the kid who took a life will be tried as an adult.

I actually just heard about this via the Internet. Words can not express my deep sorrow. Except to let you know you are loved and supported. This world does have kind and caring people. Bless you King Family.

Lawrence- I am devastated that someone would just end your life like that. You were a beautiful kid, and if I'd known you, I think we'd be friends.
May God bless you and may justice be served. I took a temporary vow of silence today so that what you suffered need not happen to anyone else.

I have just heard about this story and would like to extend my sympathies to this young man's family. The Day of Silence was held at my high school, but even though I didn't adhere to it I still support it. RIP Larry King.
