I have just heard about this story and would like to extend my sympathies to this young man's family. The Day of Silence was held at my high school, but even though I didn't adhere to it I still support it. RIP Larry King.

I still to this day, do not understand why someone would feel the right to shoot someone because they are homosexual or bisexual. It's not fair to anyone, my personal opinion is that if they have to sink so low to shoot someone they are already dead inside themselves. They need to enforce the laws at schools, they obviously don't care about it either otherwise they would do so much more about it. Maybe i'm crazy, I never knew Larry personally, but the youtube videos really get to you, i imagine that larry was a very nice boy, and he didnt deserve to lose his life so quickly. I wish people would just STOP harassing or bullying gays, if i could do anything, at all, i would wish that Larry would still be here today. Honestly, if the killer brandon was that serious about killing Larry, I dont think that jail will do anything.
Rest in peace Larry, You will be missed by so many.

Although I didn't participate in the vow of silence, only because I talk a lot ; I just wanted to say that I will pray for Larry. He was a young man who should have seen the wold for what a beautiful thing it is and not a place of tourers. I hope that people will learn that just because your gay/bi/lesbian does not make you any different from people who are strait, and you should be treated with the same respect.

As one parent to another. I am sorry to hear about what has happened to your son. What I am happy to see is that you had shown your son that it was okay to be who he was and not afraid to be who he was. May your angels shine upon you and your son rest in peace.

its true what they say sometimes silence is the laudest statement !
