i dont see how someone could do such a thing, he was only trying to behimself and people just take that away. April 25th i was silent for the whole day to honor Lawrence. While your in junior high you shouldnt have to worry about getting killed for being gay, or a lesbian. I am now in grade eight and i dont see how someone could kill somone to young and that was just experiecning life. R.I.P Lawrence King, youve made a big difference in todays society

This is for the King family and Lawrence: First, Lawrence was a child of God, a human being; he did not deserve to die for him being who he was. I look at it as it is so sad and so painful to see a world like this; harming innocent people. Just because of someone's orientation is different does not mean they deserve to be harmed, treated disrespectfully ,or anything. Because everyone are who they are, no matter if that's straight or gay,or etc. For that to happened to Lawrence was really unnessary; he was a human being too, with a heart and feelings. I hate to see and hear that that happened to him. But to the Kings, God bless you guys souls . I hate to see someone taken away from somebody that they loved. What has this world possibly come to? But to you Lawrence, I wish your soul to rest in peace, and that you can be free.... You encourage me to be all that I am because I know you were all that you were. You will always have people that will love you- family, me, LGBT.Love ,Brandon.

Today, 4/25/08, my school participated in the Day Of Silence. My school's branch of the Gay-Straight Alliance sponsered it. We were silent against the unspoken voices of those who are affected everyday by lesbian, gay, bi, and transgender slurrs. Today, our DOS was in memory of Larry King, and today we were silent for him....

It took me years to find the courage to live my life as an out lesbian. Never at 15 would I have had the courage to live my life as I do today. And for that courage you were punished. I know you are in a better place. I hope that not only yours but other senseless deaths due to hate crimes teach us all to allow others to live their lives without hate and bigotry. R.I.P.

What terrible tragedy. It is sickening to see how intolerance in our society is socializing our children to become bigots. What senseless and sickening crime. The death of this child should make the world stop, think, and reassess.
