I feel awful for never hearing about this sooner. My prayers go to you and your family. Tomorrow, I will be participating in the Day of Silence and be thinking of you. RIP

It's terrible that something like this has to happen in order for action to be taken. I, along with others from Oakdale High School, are doing the Day of Silence in honor of Larry this year. Hopefully people will get the message because you did not deserve to die. My heart goes out to the King family. Rest in peace Larry.

Dear Larry, I'm so sorry that this had to happen to you. People die from diseases, being on death row, and in accidents but being gay is not a disease, a crime, or an accident. You didn't deserve this. I hope you can be happier wherever you are. Lots of love, Lila
