I don't know the kid but it's so sad that something like this happened, you know? This should never happen to anyone. My heart really goes out to his family. May Larry King R.I.P. <33

I send all my best wishes and prayers to the King family. Although I am straight, this hurts me especially because my aunt is lesbian. That could have just as easily have been her. And that scares me. I will support equal rights for homosexuals, bisexuals, and transsexuals for as long as I live. And I will support the King family and Larry's friends through these hard times.
God bless you all.

I am disgusted by those who believe it is "okay" to harm another because they stand out, or because that other was not like themselves. An idea is never basis enough to take the life of another human. If someone chooses not to agree with another, fine, however no one posses the right to kill another person because of it. My school is holding a day of silence for Larry that I will most certainly be involved in. My sympathy goes out to all those affected by this tragedy.

I just came from morning mass at my church and received a message about Larry´s death from the gay and lesbian organization in Sweden. May God bless your family and lead you to healing and forgiveness. May we all do everything possible to counter homophobia and all forms of intolerance.

While I did not agree with Lawrence's lifestyle I firmly stand by his right to make his own choice. Its sad and sickening that anyone feels that they are above another person to judge them for their choices. Its even worse when obviously the attacker was not raised to respect the decisions of others. Lawrence did not deserve any of this no matter what made him different. Its hard to not want retribution for this disgusting act of violence, but as my faith guides me I will pray the boy who did this one day realizes the stupidity, ignorance and finality of his decision. To another person life is the most precious we have been given. It is not ours to take. I pray for you all in this your most trying time.

Words cannot express the emotions I felt while watching the slideshow. It's one in the morning, and I'm sitting in bed, sobbing.
My heart goes out to the family who suffered such a terrible loss.
I also know in my heart that Larry is with God in Paradise.
I'm not LGTB, but this tragedy makes me want to devote my life to making sure something like this never happens again.
God bless.
