Hi, i just wanted to say i'm so sorry for your loss. larry looked like a beautiful and happy kid. his death will not be in vain. i was in my counselors office when i was reading about the day of silence and that is was going to be held in memory of larry. it was so shocking to me that someone wold be so threatened by and 15 year old boy that he could even think of doing the impossible. i am so sorry. this is the first year that i will be participating in the day of silence, and i just wanted to let you know its becuase of your son. he will remain in my memory forever. my family and i send regards to you and your family. GOD BLESS!

Dear family & friends of Larry,
I am truely sorry for the loss of your son, brother, grandchild and friend.
I got to know about Larry via the Ellen DeGeneres Show. I am shocked and I can't believe what happened to Larry. The world should finally realize that "to be gay" is positive!
I AM A LESBIAN and I wish that I would be as strong and proud as Larry to be out in public!
You can call yourself very lucky that you had such an amazing son, brother, grandchild and friend!
I'll remember Larry & you in all my prayers.
Best regards,
J.

I never knew or met Larry...but it would have been absoloutly honoured to know him. He stood up for what he believed in and was not afraid to show the real larry. His death has not been in vain. I will stand up for what i believe in and i will be proud of who i am. To Larrys family and friends i am so sorry for your loss. I never met your beautiful child but i will always remember him.

What strength this young person showed in leading the way for all of us with the message of being proud of who you are. Most adults have not even learned this lesson. If more people displayed the courage and positive attitude that Larry showed, we would have a better world, and less meaningless violence and hatred as this young person endured. My condolences to family and friends and my prayers are with you all. Although Larry's life was needlessly short, he left behiind an important message to all of us: Be proud of yourself and live your life accordingly. I never knew or met Larry...but it would have been an honor to know him....

Larry,
I want to thank you and tell you that you did not die senselessly because you have touched and changed so many lives in different ways. This is very hard to say but perhaps that's the purpose of your life, that by your death, somehow people will be more conscious of what's happening in this world, particularly referring to how other people treat gays with disrespect and such ridicule. Maybe because of your death, people will start thinking about how we could CHANGE to make this world a better place. LARRY, YOU'RE MY HERO. May you rest in peace.
