first, off i would like to express my condolences for the entire king family. secondly, i would just like to say that this story is unimaginable to me in the fact that someone thinks it is OK to deal with that situation by killing someone. it breaks my heart to know people have that much hatred in their hearts, and it also kills me that the murderer has learned this behavior from either the media or his own family! it takes a lot of courage to be who you are, despite the fact other people look down on it. to not be afraid to be true to yourself at 15 is amazing, but it is just terrible that it had to end this way. this boy was someones son, brother, friend, etc. and it is unbelievable that another child can take that away from someone. things won't change until a change is made! if we keep making homosexual jokes and thinking it is okay to hate homosexual people, this story will repeat itself. best wishes to the king family<3

To the King family-with great distress I write to you,Im sure thats words probably provide little comfort to you during this time. Please know that the story of your son has touched me so deeply.I am speechless, i do not know what to write to you, I wish I could come to America just to comfort you. Please know that you are in my thoughts. Im just so speechless that this could happen. If in any way, I can provide you with any support, comfort...anything, anything at all, please contact me.I hope that you find some comfort, peace or at the very least - justice at some point in the near future.I do not know you, you do not know me, but I am honestly so blown away that by leaving you a message, i hope with all my heart, that it may in some way comfort you, although Im sure it probably wont. Im sorry for the cost of ignorance and bigotry. So yeah, I dont know what else to say but Im sorry & I wish you all well xx

This saddens and infuriates me. I only hope that one day I can send my children to school and not have to worry about them being killed because of ignorance and hate. I am so sorry for your loss. My friend was killed in a car accident recently, and I have found that getting a new hobby can be a good way to cope. best wishes for you. I hope you find at least one moment of peace in this troubled time.

Larry, You are a hero. You may not have known it. You lived life how you wanted to, not how others wanted you to. I wish I had had the same courage when I was at school. I wish I had the same courage now. I know the difficulties of growing up being "different". It's not an easy task. I love who I am and I truly hope you loved who you were... love who you are. My heart is with you and your family. I did not know you, but perhaps one day, somewhere we will meet. You are truly an inspiration. The light in the dark. You are a hero. You may not have known it.

My heart completely goes out to Larry's family and friends as we all mourn this terrible loss. What a tragedy to lose someone so young over something so horrific and terrifying. We should not have these sorts of hate crimes- we need to spread the message of tolerance, acceptance and understanding. Everyone can make a commitment to show the world that it is okay to be different. Keep the memory of Larry alive and show the world it's time to stop the hate.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I don't believe that this kind of violance still happens. When is the world going to realize that it only makes it worse. Anyways I am truely sorry and my thoughts and prayers go to all the people that share wonderful times in Larry's life. God bless and my your days be filled with a sence of peace.
