Rest in peace Larry. . .
"Varje djup sorg har en förlorad glädje till föremål.
Tappa inte bort denna riktning.
Låt inte sorgen glömma sitt ärende.
Sorgen är den djupaste ära som glädjen kan få"
Swedish poem for you...

I am so sadden by your loss. I first heard about Larry on the news. Its so tragic what happened. He was just being who he was and that alone is so courageous. At such a young age, he had the knowledge and understanding of who he was and was not afraid to be himself. I wish I could have meet him in person, but I will never forget him. GodSpeed Larry.

This is sad time for all us when a young man is shot to death after expressing himself to himself and to the student body. After King after a boy to be his valentine this guy could not stand that. So this guy planned on taking this man life with out even thinking .He only thought about himself because I guess he felt ashamed this guy said that to him...This guy had no right to take the life of some one else .. Even if he did not like him that give shim no right to take what doesn’t belong to him... Actually we even do not have the right to take our soul away from our selves. This body of ours belongs to God and a God only nobody could take it or take advantage of it. They just don’t...I pray that these killings will not happen again we have to prevent it from happening ….
MAY YOUR SOUL REST IN PEACE NOW AND 4 EVER!!

I just recently read the article in my hometown newspaper this past weekend. My heart dropped to think that this happened to a child and that the offender was a child also. My prayers go all out to Larry's family and friends. Memories last a LIFETIME. Treasure them always

My thoughts are with the family, and with all my sisters and brothers who have posted here. You see, when I was Larry's age I realized there was something different about me.I had no interest in locker room talk about girls, and other things guys I went to school with talked about. I loved books and flowers.
It took me many years to realize the truth about myself, thanks to what I learned from growing up in the era of the civil rights movement, the peace movement, the counterculture, and finally the feminist and gay rights movements.
A few days ago saw the 40th anniversary of the death of Martin Luther King,Jr, a great man who preached love and peace and who became a victim of hate, just like Larry was.
Lets remember him and Harvey Milk and Matthew Shepherd and all the others who lost their lives for what they were and what they stood for and strive to make Love and Peace prevail!

To Larry and the his family,
Your story is one that should never have to be told, but one that everyone should now hear. Someday, I believe there will be nothing but tolerance, acceptance, and love toward the LGBT community. Encouraging parents to teach their children well is the first step. As a bisexual student myself, I can only thank Larry for living openly, freely, and honestly, as all people should be allowed to live. My heart goes out to your family and friends.
