I thought people had come a long way in exspecting Gay's.when I heard this story I realized how BIG this problem still is.I have 2 awsome girls and I do my best to keep them open minded about others.everyone has the right to be themselves,NO ONE should die because they have the gutes to admite there feelings. R.I.P. Larry

I am heartbroken at the loss of this precious child. I am also at a loss. He did no harm being himself. Every time l think of this beautiful soul that was stolen from whom GOD entrusted him with, l cry. I am a man with feelings and, compassion. Larry , thank you for opening my eyes. Now, l finally have seen that my stupidity was fear. You have become the inspiration that was needed for me to see past my own predjudices. I am so sorry that it came to this for me to see clearly. Please forgive me for being so ignorant and blind. Go rest high on that mountain, your work on earth is done. We will all miss you. Your life will never be forgotten by me. Thank you Larry. Thank you King family for giving us Larry. My life and way of thinking have changed. I will promise you that l am now tolerant, little friend. Here is to Larry.

A High School created for students who were LGBT has received alot of community opposition here in NYC. I hope this tragedy will make people recognize that it is shameful that a specific High School for LGBT students would even have to be created. But it also makes me wonder, that if Larry attended a High School similar, would he still be alive today? Ignorance in all forms is a dangerous thing. I am sorry for your loss. I know that I just have to fight harder to put an end to sensless violence.

I am so sorry that Larry is yet another victim of hate and ignorance. The tears I shed must be pale in comparision to those of his family and loved ones. Peace be with you all. I also have to say that I admire Larry's strength and persistance. To stand up and be who he was meant to be amid constant ridicule, abuse and hatred is something most adults, let alone most teenagers , are not able to do. Our pride for him must shine through our tears.

I would just like to say that I am very sorry for the loss of Lawrence King. It seems like he was a great contribution to our world. And now he is lost. Love and Acceptance is the game, and this world needs more players. Im sorry for a loss like this. I will keep the family and friends of Larry in my thoughts and prayers.

May all who knew him be comforted my the Lord. I will do what I can to see to it that Larry's death is not ignored by the media. All too often events such as this are ignored and we must try to prevent that. May Larry rest in peace.

I am sorry For your loss. I am a gay activist. Or you can say that. I try to lead classrooom discussions about gay rights. Larry would be happy about the heating debate he helped about gay rights, even though it was his life that had to be taken in order to give. Also, may I say that I am minor. Children are getting involved now. Do not teach ignorance and violance. Teach acceptance and kindness. May Larry not be forgotten or killed in vein.
