God, I don't even know where to start. All I can say is that I am so horrified that someone my age was killed simply because of their sexuality. I honestly don't know what to do, offering my condolences and my prayers is useless, as you already have them and they still won't change what happened. I'm so sorry that this happened, and I'm participating in the Day of Silence, hopefully helping to bring more awareness to crimes brought about by homophobia so that this doesn't happen again. Again, I'm so sorry.

Just a boy, 14 years in, was shorted life, never thinking it sin to follow your heart, he merely reached out his hand hoping to find, a new friend.
A little boy loved someone
A little boy loved someone
A little boy loved someone
And they shot him down.

I'm sorry for your loss. And this must be really hard and diffcult, but we need to understand how to change people and show them that they're hurting someones feelings. Most kids wouldnt care, I'm a kid, I know. They'll coutinue, wether you tell a teacher or suspend them. I want people to see others for how different they are, not for how they're uncool. Bullying, teasing, taunting, etc all those destroy someone's confidence to succeed and go on with life. I only wish the world could put an end to all this, and let others be themselves, to shine and be happy. Our world grows on happiness, not sadness.

I just wanted to stop by and tell you how this story moved me. Larry was a gorgeous boy, full of promise, and his life should not have ended this way. My heart goes out to his family, friends, and the whole community affected by this shameful murder.
In all the photos he is smiling, so full of joy and promise. I really hope that we can all come together and ensure that this never happens again, that no other family has to suffer like this.
I am sending you all good vibes - consider yourself hugged! If anyone reading this is feeling insecure or bullied because you are different in some way, you're not alone. Please speak up and seek help. Every one of us is unique and special and we all deserve love and respect.
I will light a candle for you tonight and send some positive intentions your way. I wish you all the best in future and hope that you will feel joy again in the future.

I' ve read about Larry's murder on a newspaper at school and I'm very disgusted! I'm not gay and I don't have gay friends or relatives, but it doesn't mean that I can accept the death of a teen like me (I'm nearly 18) only because he was gay, it's impossible to die in this terrible way! I'm angry It's also impossible to make a murder at school! American society is broken! STOP VIOLENCE!

it must have been hard for him.. i myself am gay too and i did drop out because i couldn't cope with the differences i had with others... he was tough to be goin to school and be open about his orientation......
he will not be forgotten.
