Having been out my entire life I know what a struggle it is that our young people face today. May the Gods/Goddesses bless Larry he is a true hero in my book and may they bless his family and friends

My heart truly goes out to you Larry and your family. This deeply sadden me when I read your story. I have a son just two years older and it is fear every day that something could happen to him just because someone didn't like his looks or wanted something he had. This is a sad world we live in. Larry you have gone to a far better place and some day I hope to meet you , give you a big hug and kiss and tell you how much you are loved. God Bless eacha nd every one of you. Sincerely, Connie

I am very sorry for your loss. I know that there are no words that can take away the pain & emptiness that you are feeling right now. Just know that there are people in this world that are praying for your family. Remember that God does not put any burden on us that He feels we can not carry.

I knew about Larry's tragic end only now. Its heart breaking to know that he died so young. I read about him. He was a brave kid who defied every insult thrown on him facing them with courage. I dont know what else to say. I am drowned in the emotions. As a fellow gay I pray for him.

I know no words can take your pain away, but I am truly sorry for your loss. Though I did not know Larry, he seemed like a wonderful person, full of love and laughter. I myself am only a few years older than Larry, and I still and dealing with some self-shame. I am truly proud of people like him who are not afraid and not ashamed; they are my role models, no matter what age. Tragedies like this should not happen for communities to come together, but I believe he is happy knowing there is a little less hate in the world.

It is a fact of life that kids can be cruel and that humans (even adults) can be wholly intolerant of other people. The majority of our society does, at times, turn a cruely blind eye at those that are not the majority as being different. These people want to decrease their risk of alienation from the majority so they continue on their current course. What is most remarkable about this tremendous young man is that he felt free to be himself fully when he was the minority. At the age of 15! This kid has so much guts! From what I read, he also had a ton of empathy and integrity centered to the causes he participated in and to his friends/family. I will always remember his story, though I never met him, and the fact that he was so brave at such a young age.
May a true peace be with you Larry. You just became a hero to me...

Larry was taken from this world way too soon & in such a heinous way. But his soul is still with us all - reminding me (& hopefully so many others) that we are at our best when we act out of love and compassion for one another.

My heart really goes out for the King family. It is to sad to read about what happened. It was a great loss because Larry really is a hero. I just wish that the world will stop hating someday and everyone will just accept everyone else for whoever they are.

I know God will reincarnated Larry into a person who will lead a happy, peaceful life. I am just sorry that the kids at that school weren't taught to deal with issues and be kind or walk away. My heart goes out to the people who supported him and took care of him and gave him only love and appreciation.
He will live again.
