After all these years, I remember what it was like. So to someone who had far more courage than I ever did in school, you are in my thoughts Larry. You are my hero.

My heart is with the King Family. Sadly, I just learned about this shooting today, March 29, 2008. My child is only a year younger than little Larry. I cannot imagine losing a child so young. I truly am so fearful of sending my own kids "out there" to these public schools. Everyday it worries me. The slightest conflict, the wrong word said and it could be over. Please know, my heart is truly devastated at your loss. I am so sorry this happened to Larry, to Larry's family. May love and peace be with you. We must do something.

My heart truely goes out to the family of such a brave child. I am straight but, have grown up around gays/lesbians. As well as worked with and beside them. I've had a co-worker whoes adopted son was attacked for being gay. My former supervisor was attacked. It really makes no sense to me why this has to happen. Why can't people just accept that we are all not the same? I just don't see why that's so hard. God Bless Larry and other's who have passed.

I can't express how saddened I was as I watched that video. We live in a world of such hateful ignorance. I am so happy to see so many positive-minded people on here ending the sickness that is gay-bashing. God bless and rest in peace Larry.

I am terribly sorry for your loss. This type of intolerance should simply not exist in this day and age. I hop ethe cowards responsible for this are punished and spend their lives in prison thinking about the cruel way they took this poor kids life

My heart broke as I read the story covering Larry's murder. What a wonderful boy he must have been, especially to be himself despite the taunts and tortures of his classmates. My thoughts are with his family and friends following this tragedy.
