My partner, our adopted son, and I would like to send our deepest condolences for the loss of Larry. His family and freinds are in our prayers. We also pray for tolerance and acceptance for other kids that have the courage to be themselves.

My sincere condolesences, I have no words to express MY HEARTFELT SORROW ...I believe God has blessed and will forever bless Larry and all his Family........ Before I realized that the face on the screen was that of the kid in the story... It was Larry! My first thoughts when I looked at the precious angel face on the screen... and tried to relate it to the story, I could not put the two together .... IT WAS TOO HORRIBLE TO ACCEPT .... THIS INCREDULOUS STORY was about KIDS..... YOUNG KIDS! I will remeber that precious young face..... I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER LARRY, How could anyone FORGET???!!!!!!!!!!!!! ..........And the poem "In memory of "Larry" I feel speaks of the, SPIRIT, that Larry exuded even in his PICTURES! I fell in LOVE with LARRY ....the wonderful HUMAN BEING that I know he was. Who could not LOVE HIM?! GREAT KID! PERFECT ANGEL!!!

My thoughts and prayers are with your family. I pray that through this tragic loss, that it brings greater awareness to government & the schools. I pray that the schools will train their teachers better & that children are able to be themselves.

My thoughts and prayers are with the whole family and all of Larry's friends. I happen to read this story through Verizon Wireless news and it absolutely breaks my heart! I wish only the best to you all. I guess if anything good can come out of all this, its that his death may open the eyes of others and this may not have to happen to another young boy/girl.
My thoughts and Prayers are with you.

I am dumbfounded. The news article said "both were described as good kids". No - one was a kid, being himself and NOT hurting anybody, but responding to those that did hurt him in a creative and non-violent way. The other, he's a killer. Killer's are not good, they are evil. We don't have to like all the diversity in the world, but it's here and we need to accept it. Sometimes, the problem really is us - and killing just makes the world that much less decent. Larry looks like he enjoyed the same things all young boys enjoy, having fun, hanging with his friends and even defining him by his orientation seems to be an insult. He was a good kid - killed by an evil person. My heart goes out to Larry's family and friends.
