The killer's parents should be jailed and punished as well for not securing their gun.

I am so sorry that this child had to die for being himself. Hopefully, sometime, someday, someway, the hatred will stop and we can accept people as they are, not how we would like them to be.

May Larry rest in peace, not found on this earth, for he so richly deserves it. It is such a shame that in 2008 we as homosexuals must face such discrimination and ignorance. Understanding and acceptance must start in the home. What a loss to the world. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

As a gay man of 41 I to went through what your son went through, but I didnt have the courage,or the pride your son had. It sickens me of what happened and Im so sorry for your lost. When I saw this in Yahoo.com I cried and cried for hours. It breaks my heart for such a strong young person to do what he believes and stronger to take on the people who is causing such harm. As I look back at my own childhood I didnt have the guts to stand up for myself. I eventually quit school and never returned. And as an adult, I to am still afraid of what might happen. May the Lord Jesus Christ hold your son in his arms and give you peace... God Bless
