I send out my sincerest condolences out to the King family. I found out about Larry while watching T.V. It's a shame that he had to die so young over something so senseless. People have always encourages young people to be who they are, not to follow the crowd and stand on their own two feet and yet this young man was killed because he did just that. My prayers go out the the family; I can't even imagine what you guys must be going through. Try to stay strong through this trying time and keep the faith.

I only want to express my feelings about your son's death. It can't be understood how something like this can happen. I hope that the person who killed him realise one day what he has done.
Be strong for Larry, he deserves that.

To Larry's family I am truly sorry for your loss of such a brave and courageous son. I recently have done research myself to gain information on the like of Larry and I must say you should be proud of such a amazing individual! I lost my father as a child, but not in such a violent and senseless way but always remember that they may not be present physically but will always remain in your heart, soul, and mind. The happiness Larry brought to you in such a short time will bring you comfort in the days you feel you cant go on. Larry remains in my prayers including your family. Though I did not know larry personally I will always remember the child who knew who he was, and was proud of it. I can not imagine a better person to use as a example in the future for my children to have confidence in themselves no matter who may question him. And if it does cost them their lives I cant only hope Larry will be waiting with open arms in heaven. God Bless You.

Wow, uhh... Im not sure what to say. This is exactly what ive been fighting against for a while now. People need to understand that whoever we are, we are all equal. This is a very hard journey, and just when we feel like we are getting closer... something like this happens. Larry got caught in the middle of an age-long war. Im very sorry for your loss, I just hope that this will bring awareness to people. Someday we will stop the hate.

This event both angers and saddens me. I simply say thank you Larry for having the courage that many kids (including myself) don't have.

I am so sorry for what happened. Hate crimes are far too common, but even more than that, this was a little boy who had a family. The Gay-Straight Alliance of Buena High School is doing everything we can for you. We'll all meet him someday, and he's going to be crushed by all of the hugs, I just know it. We love you.

I am so sorry to hear about this loss. I want to say looking through the site and the slideshow Larry brought tons of joy to his family and friends and I want to say that Larry has a family across this country. His story has opened eyes especially my own and is changing this world. He is a hero that is going to change this world one person at a time. I struggled with being myself and for a young man to be so open and pure, you are a jewel. Larry, you are an inspiration!
