To Larry's family I am truly sorry for your loss of such a brave and courageous son. I recently have done research myself to gain information on the like of Larry and I must say you should be proud of such a amazing individual! I lost my father as a child, but not in such a violent and senseless way but always remember that they may not be present physically but will always remain in your heart, soul, and mind. The happiness Larry brought to you in such a short time will bring you comfort in the days you feel you cant go on. Larry remains in my prayers including your family. Though I did not know larry personally I will always remember the child who knew who he was, and was proud of it. I can not imagine a better person to use as a example in the future for my children to have confidence in themselves no matter who may question him. And if it does cost them their lives I cant only hope Larry will be waiting with open arms in heaven. God Bless You.

Wow, uhh... Im not sure what to say. This is exactly what ive been fighting against for a while now. People need to understand that whoever we are, we are all equal. This is a very hard journey, and just when we feel like we are getting closer... something like this happens. Larry got caught in the middle of an age-long war. Im very sorry for your loss, I just hope that this will bring awareness to people. Someday we will stop the hate.

This event both angers and saddens me. I simply say thank you Larry for having the courage that many kids (including myself) don't have.

I am so sorry for what happened. Hate crimes are far too common, but even more than that, this was a little boy who had a family. The Gay-Straight Alliance of Buena High School is doing everything we can for you. We'll all meet him someday, and he's going to be crushed by all of the hugs, I just know it. We love you.

I am so sorry to hear about this loss. I want to say looking through the site and the slideshow Larry brought tons of joy to his family and friends and I want to say that Larry has a family across this country. His story has opened eyes especially my own and is changing this world. He is a hero that is going to change this world one person at a time. I struggled with being myself and for a young man to be so open and pure, you are a jewel. Larry, you are an inspiration!

I am so devastated by this tragic. I was in tears when i saw larry's pictures. I am a gay men and i know exactly what larry went thru, i am very thankfull to god for being ther for me thrue out that stage in my life its hard to live in the world where your not fully accepted by others, I am sad for the loss of his life but also he is leaving the legacy of "he die for being himself" that will always be in the heart of us gay people that have struggle with sociaty to be who we really are. God bless larry's soul and may him rest in peace and be another guardian angel in our lives.
