As a mother I am so heart broken for the loss of a child. I like to think that Lawrence did as Mama Cass Elliott did, made his own kind of music and although no one else listened he stood his ground.I wish that I would of seen your young smile for some other reason than that some one took your life for being you. I am sorry life ended way to soon for you. I am studying at my ripe old age social diversity as a college student and that is how I came to see your story Lawrence, I hope that we as a people can learn to be more diversified and accepting in life. This needs to be taught at an early age. I will do my best to teach my 2 granddaughters that everyone is different just like different Nana and Lawrence are. A mother and a student of life.

It is such a shame that it takes a tragedy to bring people together to fight for the rights of all. My heart goes out to all those who knew Larry personally and to the family. Thank you for not allowing this horrible crime to be hushed.

I am so sorry for your lost.It is an awful tradegety that this handsome little man had to die because he wanted someone as his valentine. He was one very courageous little boy to be so open about who he was.He was taken way to soon and that is awful and I hope the families hearts heal and remember what a great and handsome little boy he was.I didn't know him personally but have heard about what happened and it made me so sad to think that his life was taken. My heart goes out to the family of Larry and all of his classmates that won't have the chance to watch him continue to grow and live life.He was taken way to soon and it wasn't fair.I hope that the tolerance of this behavior will come to and end before someone else especially a child loosing their lives for being diffrent and brave to be who they are.

There is so much i would like to say, but words just fail me entirely. I didn't know Larry at all, but these events have effected me deeply. I am deeply sorry for your loss.
