Dear Larrys family, Even while I never met Larry, I can see that he was a very loved kid. I cannot tell you how much i cried watching the beautifull show, or how i feel that the world is missing out on a great soul to brighten its days. I am terribly sorry about Larry, and please know that you and your family have my condolences. Erin Reviczky

When I was home recently sick with a cold, I tuned into the "Ellen DeGeneras Show". On this particular show she mentioned Larry's death, and how upset she was. I was crying my eyes out. When I was much younger, if anyone including my family chose not to deal with it, I was ready to write them off. I am older now, but feel that Larry has to be one of the most courageous people to deal with the constant comments from people who did not understand what he was going through as a young person. I must say, "shame on the parents" for not teaching the murderer that everyone in this world counts. I was raised to accept everyone regardless. To the parents of Larry, thank you for letting him be himself, as I didn't have a choice when I was his age, so I cheated myself out of a lot. God has already blessed Larry for his time here on earth, but hopefully one day the rest of the world will realize that we are all so different in so many ways but should be respected for just being ourselves.

When will we stop hating those who just want to be themselves. To the King family, my prayers go out to you. I cannot express how hurt I am by this. I've never heard something so brutal at such a young age. We have to stop hating. God Bless

I just want it to be known that my heart goes out to the family of Larry who loved him and believed in him. He was as human as any other person on this earth and did not by any means deserve what happened to him. Who are we to judge another person. I am sure he was a loving, wonderful boy. I am so sorry for your loss and it is now our loss also. God is the only one who has the right to judge. He will be remembered always. Shame on the boy who ended Larry's life. Now he will be judged but not by any of us. He is the one who has to try to shut his eyes at night and go to sleep with a guilty concience tormenting him for the rest of his life. Always

We, as a human race, have to stop the hatred and the violence. Until something drastic changes in our society, we will never have the opportunity to experience the full potential of any young person who is silenced by intolerance and ignorance. It is a horrific shame that we will never get to witness the full potential of Lawrence King. I wholeheartedly hope that we will eventually unite, in a non-violent manner, against the social fear of self expression. We must unite soon....before any other child is lost in such a senseless way. Larry, rest in peace and trust that I will do my best to celebrate your strength, courage and life.
