Larry, you were so courageous. You stood proud where most would cower in fear. You will never be forgotten and your loss has not been in vain. You have roused us to be proud of who we are and to take a stand against hatred. Rest in peace my young friend.

Life is an amazing ride, that we all are a key part. Life, as I call it, is the greatest teacher! now the question still remains; can we learn from our mistakes? Can we move forward and teach the new generation that hates is what makes us weak? It’s just very unfortunate what just happened to this courageous young child, my heart and my blessings goes to his family, friends and the people that in one way or another taught this young boy that being true to himself was the greatest gift there is, and by being himself he will CHANGE the world and so he has, he has..…. See you Later Larry King!

Larry, you are a shining star, who will everyday look down on all of us and guide us to be the loving, caring, understanding and accepting people that we all need to be. In a perfect world, tragedies like this would not happen. With your wings, sweet angel, you have the power now to reach many, and spread your word. I did not know you, but your story has already touched me. That is your power now. Be strong, and show others the way!!!! Rest in Peace Larry!

I didn't know your son. When I was his age I remained silent about my orientation out of fear..but that was over a decade ago. I want you to know that I am so proud of him. He is a beautiful inspiration for being himself, for being strong and unashamed of the beautiful being he was. Thank you for raising such an amazing boy. I won't forget him. I only wish that life had given more people the chance to know his strength. I am so sorry for your loss - you have the sympathies and support of my community. I pray that this opens eyes to the senselessness of something that should have ended LONG ago. Thank you for your son. Thank you, Larry.

I am terribly sorry for this awful, awful news. I'm 16 years old, and I can't believe that this has happened to a boy who was just being himself. I can't get the idea out of my head that he was only one year younger than me... I'm deeply sorry, and I wish you strength in these days. I admire Larry for being so brave to be himself. Sorry for the writing mistakes I possibly made. Many kisses and hugs from me and my family.

I feel so upset over the way Larry died. No one should have to face that kind of pain. I felt like someone had dropped my heart, when I first heard about this. I know our Schools GSA is going to be talking about this for weeks and mayybe months to come. My Heart and Prayers go out to the family and friends that were affected by this... <33 A friend..Heidi
