This is utterly depressing. I wish I could have known Lawrence. It's terrible how such thoughts could go through a kid's head. Why can't the world just accept homosexuality? Why won't they realize that no matter what they say, it won't go away? I'm personally bisexual, even though only very few people know. Lawrence is very brave and proud to show what he is, and I envy him for that. I hope he rests in peace.

The King family is in our thoughts and prayers. We also pray for change - that people will change their hearts and minds, leaving hate behind...

i hope that this tragedy will open peoples eyes and help them realize that this world is full of diversity...and that one single bullet can end one life-but make this world stronger, unified, and proud of the diversity that lies within us all. my prayers go out to the king family.

I AM SO FURIOUS ABOUT THIS,SO WHAT LARRY WAS OPEN ABOUT HIS SEXUALITY. THAT WAS HIS BUSINESS NO ONE ELSES, NO ONE HAS THE RIGHT TO TAKE ANOTHER PERSONS LIFE. ESPECIALLY BECAUSE OF THE WAY HE CHOOSE TO LIVE.THIS WORLD IS FULL OF HURTFUL AND UGLY PEOPLE AND IT JUST DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE AT ALL. CHILDREN KILLING CHILDREN FOR STUPID REASONS. I KNOW IN MY HEART THE PERSON WHO TOOK LARRY'S LIFE WILL PAY FOR IT DOWN HERE AND WHEN IT'S THERE TIME TO GO. EVERYONE PLEASE DON'T HOPE FOR REVENGE JUST KNOW WHAT COMES AROUND GOES AROUND. WHAT YOU DO DOWN HERE YOU PAY FOR WHEN IT'S YOUR TIME... THE LARRY IS WITH THE LORD AND THE OTHER ANGELS PLAYING AND SMILING DOWN AT HIS FAMILY....
