Be proud to have had a son that knew who he was and that believed in himself enough to come out in a world that doesn't fully understand that there is no difference between people whom love men and or women. I am sorry for your loss.

I am so sorry for your loss. This is something that no parent should ever have to go through, and hate of any kind is unacceptable. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I'm truly sorry, all my prayers are with the family. BEING GAY IS NOT A DISEASE OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT, gay people are just normal people living their lifes, and i know this because my best friend is gay, they're people who have dreams and goals, so i just can't understand why this just happened, the only one here who was messed up in the head... was the boy who pulled the trigger

Our thoughts and prayers are extended to the Family of Larry King. Every person, who hears of this tragedy, must search their minds and hearts to see if they have ever contributed to a hate crime. Every person, every organization including religous organization must exam their teachings and statements and remove from them any hint of dicrimination or exclusion. We should not be a people who tolerate one another, we should be a people who accept one another. What happened to Larry was not the sole act of another child. If we look into the life of Brandon, I am certain we will find those who influenced and taught him to hate those differnt from himself. May the life of Larry lift all humainty to new heights of love, acceptance and compassion for one another. May Larry rest this night and for all eternity in the heart of God, the God who created him and loved him as he was. I will offer a mass of the Ressurection for Larry at of the Holy Innocents Church, in Halcottsville, New York.

Since I read about Larry in a magazine, I have been following his story in newspapers and online news. I would like to take this time out to say God Bless the King family. Larry seemed to be a child full of life. His parents should be proud to have had such a wonderful loving young man.

It is truly sad to hear about any type of hate crime going on, but when they look as precious as this it just tugs my heart even further. This has to stop. It has to.

It is so tragic knowing for such a young person die just b/c of their orientation... I just wish people were more opened minded of diversity of this world and what makes everyone unique... And I do agree people live for love... Sometimes we can't help but show or hide our feelings towards one another, c/mon now we are all human... W/O love the world would be so bland.... I would also like to say rest in peace Larry, my prayers go out to you, your family, and friends... I hope that more and more people will be more open minded about what make people who they are... RIP Larry...
