I have just learned of Larry's horrific murder from Patti Digh's inspirational blog. She uses his story in a posting calling everyoneto act in support of diversity and to intervene to stop this kind of hate. It is almost beyond understanding that a child could have so much hate in his heart that he would kill another child simply for being different from him. Yet, I take hope from the fact that literally worldwide people are still responding to Larry's legacy and pledging to make a difference in their own lives. I can't imagine the overwhelming grief from losing a child, but I hope and pray that the legacy arising from Larry's death will bring some comfort to his family and others that knew and loved him. I pray that we all never forget Larry's story and use it to make a difference in our own lives. God bless.

I haven't heard of Larry's tragic story until Friday September 7th when I was watching 20/20, and I have to say this is the saddest story I've ever heard. I wish i went to school with Larry, I would have been his friend, I would have protected him. What has this world come to? I don't understand why some people don't understand that it's okay to be different. What I liked the most about Larry is that, he wasn't afraid to show who he was on the inside. No one deserves to die for being who they are, No one deserves to die the way Larry did. His story will stick with me for a long time.
Larry and I share the same last name and I'm the same age he was when he was killed, i guess that makes us connected in a way. Larry taught me something: not to be afraid to show who i am and not care what anyone else thinks. My heart goes out to his parents/Forster parents & I know that he is in a better place where no one can hurt him anymore. R.I.P Larry <3

As I'm sitting here bored with nothing to watch,I came cross the show 20/20 showing Larry's story. I've never cried so much in my life. I felt as if I ws personally connected to him. I've never seen so much hate in someone to take someone else life. I guess the story shock me because in my state homosexauls are welcomed. I'm Soph in college & we have a lot of gays & we love them all. I've never seen someone treated like that before.. I just wished I knew him before; invite him to come live with me & show him that not ever place treat people the way he ws treated up there!! I feel so angry right now! He was so young with a bright future.... JUST MAY HIS SOUL REST IN PEACE God uses some people story to help better other people lives & his story is one of them Love you baby boy

I am sitting in bed while my 2 yr old boy sleep nexts to me. As I am browsing the CNN app I came across Larry's sad but inspiring story. I recently (17 months ago) became a believer in Christ. It is truly amazing how he uses his children as mediums to put his fingerprints on our lives. I have struggled badly with making racist comments (amongst friends or family, not openly to anyone that they were directed at) (clearly have not made deragatory comments toward a homosexual, I have a couple of friends who are). However as a infant in my Christianity I know the importance of me not making racist comments to anyone, anywhere for ANY reason. I have not been able to get over the hump with abstaining. After reading what happened to Larry because he was gay, I will NEVER again allow myself to partake in those devilish, cowardly acts. What Larry has taught me at 32, I wasn't sure I could ever do; that is so set a good example for my own son. Thank You Larry. Thank You Lord for Larry!

My heart breaks thinking about the bullying this child had to go through. May he live in peace with the rest of the Angels.

I am just learning about this tragedy and I am absolutely shocked, angry, and sad. May he rest in peace and may his story help others realize the pain caused in bullying. R.I.P. Larry
