It amazes me that someone like Sandy Rios, a Christian commentator, on the radio defends the killer. Reminds me of something someone said to me..."Dear Lord Protect me from your followers." so so true. Rest peacefully Larry.

Larry was such a cute young boy saddened my heart to hear this story, no matter how larry presented his gender or sexuality at school no one had the right to end his life just because they were angry with him.I personally wrote to the district attorney and thanked his office for trying the defendent as an adult, once i heard there was a mistrial i encouraged his office to try him a again. Justice for Larry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You are not forgotten!

hope u'll rest in peace larry~ i'm sad to tell u that u're not the last one killed because of homophobic hate crimes, but the dead of yours and many others will wake people like us up, and we are going to gain the right that we deserved in order to prevent such tragedy happens again hope u can witness the day when hatred and prejudice do not exist anymore

I have just learned of Larry's horrific murder from Patti Digh's inspirational blog. She uses his story in a posting calling everyoneto act in support of diversity and to intervene to stop this kind of hate. It is almost beyond understanding that a child could have so much hate in his heart that he would kill another child simply for being different from him. Yet, I take hope from the fact that literally worldwide people are still responding to Larry's legacy and pledging to make a difference in their own lives. I can't imagine the overwhelming grief from losing a child, but I hope and pray that the legacy arising from Larry's death will bring some comfort to his family and others that knew and loved him. I pray that we all never forget Larry's story and use it to make a difference in our own lives. God bless.
