This completely outrages me to no end!javascript:AddSmileyIcon(' ') I am 18 years old and I am so sorry for your lost, I am bisexual and have participated in the Day of Silence for almost 3 years now, and I will dedicate that day to him. Looking at the pictures of Larry and hearing about his presonality, he reminds me of my gay friend Bobby, kinda looks like him too, and I couldn't imagine losing him. I've been with my boyfriend Devin for 3 years, and I don't know what I'd do without him, everyone just wants to be loved and needed and to have that special someone, and that's what Larry wanted, too.javascript:AddSmileyIcon(' ')We all deserve the right to be who we are without the fear of rejection. He WILL be remembered every year on the Day of Silence which this year is April 25th. You can look up info on that Day at www. dayofsilence.com. Once again I am sooooo very sorry.

this is a great lose. tears come to my eyes to think that a human..child this beautiful, so full of life could be killed just by the way he felt inside. we can not give up. every time we are beaten down we will always rise again. as a society and as humans we must educate, stop this hate in are schools and religious congregations. we are all equal, all human. peace and love prevail. R.I.P.

I'm sincerely apologize for your lost. This is unbelievable, yet believable at that same time. Hate crime still exist, I can't believe people didn't learn from teh Matthew Shepherd Incident about 10 years ago. To the parents of the murderer, you should have taught you children better. To the respond of those that think this should have been publicized better, well, the media is still somewhat racist, in my opinion. They only chose what is/are important to the majority. I am sad to see/hear this. I'm sorry for your lost, my greatest, deepest sympathy to the family, friends, and love ones. I hope this will serve a more and stronger lesson for those that think that it's ok to kill/murder someone because of their sexuality. It's difficult as it is for us (homosexual) to accept our sexuality without suicide. We should become more acceptable of people sexual orientation. It's not a CHOICE! For god sake. Much Love, Chace

My prayers for the family of this wonderful child taken too soon. My prayers also for the children being raised in homes where hate is taught at the dinner table. May these children move beyond the hate and intolerance and help make this world one where everyone is treated equally.

I am sooo sorry for your loss. How empty those words must be. My son is gay and has withstood his own personal agony. I wish your boy could have grown to see that there are so many people that do not teach the hate that he experienced. I will always remember your Larry. Since times are the way they are I submit as anonymous.

While I am very sadden by the tragedy done to Lawrence King, I can't help but be more sadden, hurt and angry at the lack of attention for other incidences like death of Simmie Williams Jr, the 17-year-old black gay teenager who was gunned down by two unknown men, because he was wearing a dress at the time. The case becomes more tragic as news surfaces that five years ago, another young black gay man wearing a dress was shot on the same stretch of road—and he was the son of a family friend. But these stories and many others are NOT getting the attention it deserves. Where are the entertainers, etc. for these kids? I believe they matter just as much. Check out, www.rodonline.typepad.com for more details. The story title is: "Two Florida Mothers Are United By Slain Black Gay Sons"

Today is the first I heard about this story and it sickens and saddens me that this poor boy had to endure such pain because this other boy was raised under a rock and doesnt accept anyone who is different from himself. my thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of Larry. He is in a better place where he cant be hurt anymore, he is in the hands of our lord. May he never be forgotten and let this be the reason we Americans change the way we live our lives. Rest In Peace Larry. You'll soul will forever live on.

I cannot believe this happened to this child. My God why did something like this have to happen. Nobody should have to die because of their lifestyle or who they may be, especially an innocent child. Lord take that child into your arms and never let go and touch his family to let them know he is okay and bless that family beyond their dreams, for this is so wrong and you above, why did you let it happen? This breaks my heart in so many ways. I hope Lord that you had a good reason if any for allowing such a thing.
