It is with deepest sympathy for Larry and his family during this hard time! I first heard of the incident on the Ellen Degeneres Show and I want to say Thanks to her for bringing that information to the people of america especially me. I pray for the family during this hard time and may God be with you always!

Family and friends of Larry King, I want to try and express just how sorry I am to hear of your loss. It makes me both sad and angry when kids, even younger than me, feel that it is justifiable to use violence to resolve conflict. It is tragedies such as this which only further solidify my ambitions to be a leader in this country someday, so that my children can grow up in a society where it is alright to be different. From what I hear of your son, he was both a couragous and caring boy, and I am sure he would have grown to be a wonderful person. I will continue to keep you all in my prayers. With all of my love and support, Maryn

I cannot for the life of me understand why anyone would wish to harm another person. What's worse is when that person is an innocent child. He has now returned to God and I am certain the Lord will grant him peace and joy. God speed Larry.

I am so sorry for your loss...this is inexcusable...I heard about this tragedy on the Ellen show and it saddens me that I didn't hear about this on the news or other media outlets, this shows how much or world still needs to change even in 2008... I just want you to know that I will keep Larry in my thoughts and I will make it my personal mission to speak up against hate and discrimination any way that I can... Once again I am so sorry for your loss and I will keep you in my prayers and want you to know that you have my full support..

my condolences to the family of larry. i cannot imagine what it feels like to lose a child, especially in these circumstances. he did not deserve what happened. he seemed so innocent, so young. i can't believe it. he is in heaven now where god accepts him. he is free from all judgement. rip

Larry's situation reminds me of myself as a kid, so much so that it's eerie in some ways. At my age (33), you would have thought that protections for LGBT children would be in place. It comes as a shock to me that that's not the case. Increasingly, LGBT folk are getting more exposure, but the legal system is slow to catch up. Sadly, it takes cases like these that really affect people before they change their ideology. Larry, I know that your family and friends will be missing you. May they never let the candle burn out.
