I haven't heard of Larry's tragic story until Friday September 7th when I was watching 20/20, and I have to say this is the saddest story I've ever heard. I wish i went to school with Larry, I would have been his friend, I would have protected him. What has this world come to? I don't understand why some people don't understand that it's okay to be different. What I liked the most about Larry is that, he wasn't afraid to show who he was on the inside. No one deserves to die for being who they are, No one deserves to die the way Larry did. His story will stick with me for a long time. Larry and I share the same last name and I'm the same age he was when he was killed, i guess that makes us connected in a way. Larry taught me something: not to be afraid to show who i am and not care what anyone else thinks. My heart goes out to his parents/Forster parents & I know that he is in a better place where no one can hurt him anymore. R.I.P Larry <3

I am sitting in bed while my 2 yr old boy sleep nexts to me. As I am browsing the CNN app I came across Larry's sad but inspiring story. I recently (17 months ago) became a believer in Christ. It is truly amazing how he uses his children as mediums to put his fingerprints on our lives. I have struggled badly with making racist comments (amongst friends or family, not openly to anyone that they were directed at) (clearly have not made deragatory comments toward a homosexual, I have a couple of friends who are). However as a infant in my Christianity I know the importance of me not making racist comments to anyone, anywhere for ANY reason. I have not been able to get over the hump with abstaining. After reading what happened to Larry because he was gay, I will NEVER again allow myself to partake in those devilish, cowardly acts. What Larry has taught me at 32, I wasn't sure I could ever do; that is so set a good example for my own son. Thank You Larry. Thank You Lord for Larry!

My heart breaks thinking about the bullying this child had to go through. May he live in peace with the rest of the Angels.

I am just learning about this tragedy and I am absolutely shocked, angry, and sad. May he rest in peace and may his story help others realize the pain caused in bullying. R.I.P. Larry

My heart breaks when reading Larry's story. As a parent and as a sister to a brother who was bullied and tortured throughout his childhood and H.S. years I am angered and saddened that school's including our country have not taken the necessary steps to make bullying a crime. NO person should ever be pushed to the point of hopelessness nor should there lives be taken from them. We as parents need to educate our children and raise them not to be bullies and to be brave to stand up against bullying. Parents need to be involved because these children are influenced so easily and most time dont know any good. My prayers to your family! Larry I know your resting in peace and you are an inspiration for all kids to be themselves! Your time here on earth was very meaningful!

My thoughts and prayers go out to the parents, teachers and all the students who had to witness all this. It should have never happened. May this beautiful little boy RIP! Another thing that's on my mind is that if every parent paid more attention to what their child brings to school (a gun) and especailly to who their children are hanging around with sometimes things like this don't happen! RIP may god always be with you.
