I know Larry is in heaven where he is watching over his family and freinds. I am so very sorry for your loss. He will never be forgotten.

its people in this world like larry that are going to make the changes we wish to see, it takes on daring little boy to decided what he wants, and some of the repercussions are wrong. but larry may not be alive today to understand the greatness he achieved, be he lives in everyone of us, showing and telling us to be the change we want to see in the world! "I am not a second class citizen" either.

like matthew sheppard, we are losing too many of these cute, "different" boys because of our societal and political stupidity. wake up america!

I didn't know Larry, but I want to express my sincere condolences to his family. Acts like this hit close to home for me as I have very many gay and lesbian friends. It's a tragedy that should never have occurred, and its a sad idea that things like this have to happen to bring attention to the public.

God bless Lawrence and his family, friends, and community. I am so sorry that this had to happen, and I hope Lawrence can see that his death is uniting people, and that people are coming together to keep this from happening to other kids. Lawrence was such an inspiration for being able to be himself - I wish I could say that I am as brave as he was.

To Larry's family and friends who are missing him, my heart goes out to you. What a beautiful child he was. I hope someday things can get better in this country and world. I wish things could be different- that there were less hate, less guns, more acceptance and peace.
There is no sense to what happened. Just know that there are so many people who are thinking of Larry now and have him and all of you in their hearts and prayers, who never knew him but wish they could have had the chance.
I won't forget what happened. I hope others won't either and maybe we can save even one life down the road if we just take some action to make a change. I wish to do this for Larry and all the other kids who are persecuted because of ignorance.

I live in Australia and I heard this story on the Ellen DeGeneres show. Larry was incredibly brave. Not only just to openly express his sexuality, but just to be true to himself. That's something which I'm sure a lot of teenagers would agree is a lot easier said than done. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

One of Gods most precious creations was wiped from the Earth by a young lad who was taught by society that is is good to hate a gay person. It is time for gay rights, it is time for gay equality and it is time for diversity and acceptance. Larry gave his life to better humanity. He is a martyr and he is an angel. The world is a darker place today without him.
