Sending thoughts of love and peace to Larry's family. What a tragic loss. I can only hope that the world will someday learn that gay people are just as human and just as normal as straight people. We love the same, we live the same, we have the same rights and hopes and dreams for ourselves. With so much hate in this world, why cant we try to embrace love, wherever we see it? Stop discrimination, and then you start World Peace. Sending loving prayers to all victims of hate crimes across the globe...I hope you didnt die in vain.

Larry may your be welcomed in teh realms on your ancestors, where there is no hate, xenophobia or homophobia, and where there is no heaven and hell, good and bad, acceptable and unacceptable. Strut your stuff my sweet little angel and I will see you some day.

I am from the philippines. i watched ellen yesterday and surprised why sudden she became serious on the early part of the show. i listened with my heart as she sends out her grievances about larry. it broke my heart and and made me sent prayers to god for larry. i am gay. but killing an angel with a beautiful soul is really awful.. i'd like to send the family my love to them. may larry's family be always blessed, i know how larry will always be your valentine, and you to him.

My heart goes out to Larry's family and friends. When an 8th grader is murdered for being himself, we have a problem in this country. Even though I never heard of Larry until the incident, he is my hero and I know he is in a much better place. God bless Larry! Justice better come!

To the King family, I am so very sorry for your loss. I know there is nothing that anyone can do or say to take the pain of losing Larry away, but please know my thoughts and prayers are with you.
To Larry, we have never met and I happened upon your story through a friend. And, although this may be, me never having the pleasure of making your acquaintance, please know that you have made an impact on my life. I am so deeply saddened that your life ended before it even could begin. But, I understand that heaven needs it's angels and so I ask that you find peace in heaven, where you will be loved for eternity as you were on earth. Rest in peace, sweet boy.

Today God Sheds a tear in Heaven for Larry and the Boy that Shot Him. Jesus said we are to love others as much as ourselves. When things like this happen I wonder how much do we love?
But Love died on a cross and love conquers all. This is truely tragic
