Sometimes this world is so cruel and kids are the worst. They hear mom and dad saying I hat this or that and where the parent knows better than to act on the child doesn't. No I don't believe the boy who killed lawerence is a victim but I do believe he is more than likely a victim of up bringing you don't learn to hate just to hate its put there it's learned....This child shouldn't of had to die to get this out. I have friends that are gay and i'm straight does that make me want to be gay because they are no. So because I'm straight should that make them want to be straight. uh no....live and let live world there is plenty of room for everyone. God put us all here.....wake up you people you are killing one of gods preious children....

It saddens and angers me that we still live in a world were we can except each other. We are all human beings, we were all made exactly the same, two arms two eyes two legs, the same organs, but it seems that some have been made with out hearts. I have my heart and it aches for the family and friends of Larry. May you pain ease over time but Larry's memory live on forever.

I didn't know Larry, and I wish I had. I hope all of us who live(d) outside gender norms can give one another a collective hug, take a moment to breathe, and then take action. Attend vigils, write letters, and please scream at the media for their lack of attention to Larry's life, and our own!!

Larry,
You were taken from us senselessly and violently, but I know you are not gone, Larry.
You are in the hands of the angels, in the arms of God who loves all of His children unconditionally.
Thank you for all that you brought to this world. For having the courage to stand in your truth, to shine your likeness to your Creator. Many people live much longer and NEVER have the courage to BE the truth they were born to be. I'll remember you every Valentine's Day, Larry!

I admire Larry for being so brave at such a young age. I know this story, though very tragic, is touching people and bringing awareness to an issue that is clearly in need of addressing. My heart goes out to you and your family.
