I feel sorry for the loss of Larry to those who knew him.
Even though I do not believe in homosexuality, I do believe all people should be treated with respect no matter their sexual preference, color, relgion or race.
I pray and hope that more people will learn to accept everyone for who they are and not hate them what they are.

I am so very sorry to hear about this sad story; what a handsome young man whose life was stopped entirely too short. My thoughts & prayers are with everyone involved. Peace.

I am very saddened that still today, 2008, that someone could kill an innocent person just because of their sexual orientation. I thought as a Nation we have begun to move pass all of the hatred towards our own. I am very proud to say how amazed I am at him ability to be himself and actually ask another boy to be his valentine. That had to take a lot of courage for him. God bless him and take care of him and now he will be an angel and maybe can help this world move pass the anger, hatred, bias, etc. that we still face down here on this ball of mud.
May he rest in peace.

I was absolutely saddened and shocked to hear in the news that a boy like Larry killed because of his sexuality, the worst part is that the news havent reached to everyone, not even down here in Australia, Its even more sad that it took only one person who isn't with us to start this debate about violence in schools around the world.
This shouldnt have happened, but now this news has to be heard, thanks to Ellen who brought it to everyones attention, i think its time to speak up and say "This Should Not Be Tolerated Anymore".
Stop The Gun Culture, Stop The Bullying, and stop the Fear and Hatred.
Larry you shall be missed but NOT FORGOTTEN EVER.

Larry.
R.I.P your death has saddened all of us in the gay community and even in the human community. My thoughts are with your family and please know your story has touched me in Australia. I will make sure your story is shared as knowlege and understand knowlege is power.
RIP mate. And thank you for being so strong at your age to come out.

Larry,
You were so very brave beyond your years. Much braver than I, even at 56.
My school years were the same as yours, except I lacked your courage and strength. I am so saddened by your senseless passing. Your eyes in your photos have said so much about you. Anyone who had the chance to actually know and love you are much better people for it.
Sincerely,
Bob
