I am so deeply sorry for your loss. I can't even imagine the pain you must be going through right now, and my heart truly goes out to you. I have many gay/lesbian/bisexual/ transgendered friends, and I myself am lesbian. It breaks my heart to realize that there are people who hate people like me and my friends so much that they would do this. With love.

My condolences go out to Larry King and his family. I am friends with gay people, ad to me, i found no difference. They are the nicest most generous people. I only wish that people could see them the way I and many others do. This was tragic what happened. I first saw the story on the Ellen DeGeneres show and it both angers and sickens me that somebody could have such a cold heart as to take the life of a person, just because they are gay. I am 16 years old. And this world needs a wake up call and needs to see that gay people are no different from us. I hope that brandon gets life. This is a crime that should have never happened. If there is anything I can do, pleasem, email me. Anything at all! I really would like to help. R.I.P. Lawrence King

My heart goes out to the friends and family of Larry. It's amazing that we live in a world where you can't be who you want or with who you want without being judged. I am a firm believer of freedom of speech and freedom to just BE! We can't let HATE win, we will not let it.

Larry, we have never met, we lived thousands of miles away, we are different ages...yet you will be in my heart forever!!! You are a sweet, brave kid who did not deserve this type of punishment for being you. I pray you are in a better place were you are taken much better of. I pray for your family and I know by Ellen showing this tragedy on tv today that there will be people out here to help make this world a better place for gays, lesbians, bi's and so on...I love you and you and your family will be in my heart and prayers. GOD BLESS and FLY WITH ANGELS AND DOVES. Anthony

My condolences for your loss. From the slide show it's apparent he was a beautiful and beloved boy. From the stories in the papers, it's apparent he had a courageous heart. May his spirit live on in your hearts.

To the family: a balm for your loss. To readers of the guestbook: I am frightened of what happened because years ago, it could have been me that gave a valentine to a boy (when I was in school). Or it could happen to my children one day for having two gay dads. I spend too much time trying to avoid "angering" straight men by lowering my eyes and not communicating (however subtly) that I find them attractive. But it isolates me and erodes my sense of self worth. So my wish for all is an end to this fear. I wish that people will accept affection from any source without hatred for the one offering it.

I really do not know what to say. May God rest your sweet soul. May your family and friends find comfort and peace in the Lord. May those of us left behind find a way to love and accept everyone inspite of their sexual orientation. May your journey in the earthly life have not been in vain. God's eternal blessings....
