Today, I watched the Ellen Degeneres show and was shocked. I have gay family members, and they are no different. They are the same as anybody else in my family, as with anybody who is gay. This was a crime that should have never been commited, and my heart goes out to his family. Thanks to Ellen and others, however, Larry will not die in vain. His death shall help others in preventing this horrid event of ever happening again. Rest in Peace, Larry, you sound like a great guy I would've love to have met.

I really know what is to have a 15 year old boy killed. My 15 year old son was killed 18 months ago and I feel it was yesterday.Nobady has the right to do something like that. Nobody deserves to die like that. Those boys who killed my son destroyed my life forever, That is way I feel really sorry about what happened to Larry.I hope they can meet in heaven and be the best friends forever. I know nothing I can say will make you feel better, I think the best support you can have is those words not told, it'll be enough if yor family and friends are there for you, right next to you. I live one day at a time, that is all what I can do, just waiting for the day I can meet my son again.

my name is rebecca and i am 16 years old. I heard about larry and his story brought tears to my eyes, i cant say i know what your going through but telling you how sorry i am for your loss is what i can do. I know i am only 16 but hearing about this not only gets me mad but makes me feel sick about the world we live in now a days and the lessons kids are being taught. It honestly makes me want to be a better person him. Reading larrys story he sounded like an amzing boy who was strong and didnt care what people thought and I can only wish I had that trait. I'm positive larry will never be forgotten and my thoughts and prays are with you. God only chooses the best <33

To the Family of such a beautiful son. I am so sorry for your loss, he was taken so soon and in such a violent way, that only the lord can answer. The only way to not feel such sadness and anger is knowing that Larry is among God now, wearing those awesome black boots he loved. Larry belived in himself and knew he was different and was strong to live his life. I wish I had known him. I will continue to pray for you.

I am so incredibly sorry that this happened to you. I use to work in a middle school and know how awful student's treat each other. We all need to do something about the hatred that is running through our schools. From mean words and teasing to hate crimes like this, it is never okay. You are a beautiful young man who was not afraid to be YOU... many people can learn things from your confidence. I pray for your family and for you... May God keep you in his arms, because every child no matter what orientation is a perfect child of God. We LOVE YOU!! <3
