Someday, there will be no definitions.
* There will be no such thing as men.
* There will be no such thing as women.
* There will be no such thing as
straight.
* There will be no such thing as gay.
* There will be no such thing as bi.
* There will be no such thing as
transgendered.
* There will be no such thing as
cisgendered (i.e., not transgendered).
* There will be no such thing as
intersexed.
Instead, there will be just people.
People hanging out with other people. People laughing with other people. People crying with other people.
People making love with other people.
Someday, there will be no definitions, like "sissy", "dykish", or "effeminate".
Someday, we'll all be just one big group of people.
I hope I live long enough to see this day. All of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence are sorry that Larry did not. He will be missed.

When a child is persecuted and killed by another child simply for being gay, I am ashamed to be an American. This should never happen in our so-called enlightened, educated, liberal nation.
I was in the Army for 7 years, and when I came out as a gay man, they kicked me out, as I knew they would under their "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy. They were wrong to do so. We need stronger laws to protect the basic human rights of gays, the right TO LIVE, in every state, for schools and jobs. I am deeply sorry for your loss. I only wish I had known the boy King myself.

Not more than 10 minutes ago I walked by the memorial for Larry held at Cal State University San Marcos campus and I placed a flower by his picture.
I didn't even know this boy but tears started to well up on me. I grieve with this family and I'll keep Larry's image and courage in my heart.

This is one of the saddes stories that i have heard. Is it wrong for us to live our lives as the people that we know we are on the inside, should we have to live as the world thinks we should? life is so very short, only god can judge, we have rights. From this day fourth i will live my life as the person that i know i am on the inside the person that god made as Larry did, i will do so proudly. He can now be free to be the person that god made. May the lord keep you lifted, and give you the strength that you need to make it in this world without you beloved son, may his memory live on forever.

Such a brave boy. The angels above must be rejoicing at your joining them. But your passing will make this world a lesser place.

I became physically sick to my stomach when I heard of this vicious hate crime against Larry King. Nobody deserves this. I hope that Larrys family and friends will find comfort in the fact that maybe, just maybe this might educate people and stop this from happening to somebody else.
God bless you.
