My prayers for Lawrence's family. I will do something constructive in his honor to make sure this is avoided in Ga. public schools. Beautiful soul.

My heart and thoughts go out to you on your loss of this sweet boy. I just read where Larry helped his mom knit scarves for our troops and it was like a knife in my heart. I am so sorry for your loss of such a generous and caring child.

I can't believe this sort of thing happened in California, even in Oxnard. I'm so sorry for your loss and I really, really hope the national media spotlight will put pressure on the courts to give Larry justice, and for schools to get tougher on this sort of hate crime. Larry and his family are in my prayers.

I only saw your story on MSNBC last night - local news stations in every major U.S. market should be covering this tragedy. As a PFLAG mom, this should be shared with every GSA across the country.
Larry, you are truly a beautiful gift from God! I know your family and friends know this, and hopefully this brings them some comfort. Peace and love to you as you shine in heaven's rainbow, now and always!

I am so sorry for the senselessness of your loss. It's nothing less than a tragedy that Larry's life was taken from him. It's outrageous. Larry is in my thoughts and my heart goes out to all of those who knew and loved him.

How sad for all of us. Diversity is THE NORMAL STATE OF THE PLANET. Not all birds are sparrows, not all flowers are roses. How boring a place earth would be if it were so. The naturalness of diversity should be celebrated rather than feared. Where has mankind lost it's way in this garden of beauty and diversity? Larry, thanks for showing us how to accept our own natural diverse autheticity.

I was traveling the last few weeks and when some one forwarded a link about Clinton and Obama finally speaking out I was both shocked and horrified when I read the breif account of this. it is bad enough that those of us in GLBT community have to watch our backs when we go out, but to think a student was not even safe in his school is too much to comprehend. I do hope this teaches at the very least the teaches of this school to better understand the dangers facing GLBT students and warning signs of teasing and bullying that can lead to tragedies like this. I am proud to Roger Clemmens was using HGH to improve his baseball career what a country a child dies is his school for being hiumself while everyoen is consumed with something so stupid like HGH in baseball

Such a beautiful sweet boy lost to violence born of ignorance and hate. I am sorry for your loss.

Though I did not know this sweet boy personally...I just want Larry, who I am sure is looking down from heaven to see just how many people are truly, deeply saddened my his tragic, senseless death, and I am also writing so that his parents understand the world is behind them with prayers and empathy. With all my heart I hope this was not a targeted hate crime- but instead was a random act by someone with much agression and violence. The Lord sees and knows all..and I can promise..though it may not help right now..He really does have his arms wrapped around you, and is so happy and was so ready to have Larry up there with Him!

Your son touched the lives of so many just by being himself. We're truly sorry for the world's loss of such a beautiful person. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
And to Larry,
