Despite never meeting him, thousands of people are mourning the loss of Larry. Such a shame that a bright young life was so senselessly taken away. Rest in peace, Larry.

I just wanted to send a message of love and support to the King family. Nothing can replace what has been lost, but knowing that people worldwide have you in their thoughts and prayers hopefully lets you know that you are never alone. People do care. There are wonderful, loving people who greatly outnumber those who spread negativity and hatred. We have another angel on our side now. Helping to guide us towards a society of respect and acceptance. We will get there, one day. I know that is just what Larry would want. He will forever be in my thoughts and prayers.

Hi Larry,
I dont personally know you, but you knew my mom. You meant a lot to her, thus inadvertently, meant a lot to me. The only thing I wish for you is that you have found peace and happiness whereever you are now. I love you. Your friend, Alie

May Larry King rest in peace! i am an EOGreen junior high school's former student! in fact the computer lab were Larry King was murdured, i had it 3rd period. when i think about it happening there i get chills. when i was in the 8th grade Larry was a 6th grader there. whom would say that he would have to die.?// this is one of the most tragic incidents in the entire united states. Whom would expect it to happen at such a designated blue ribbon school. In fact that is one of the reasons why they had us wear uniforms. and on top of that have youre shirt tucked in, to see if you had any type of weapon in any way! E.O.Green is indeed a great school. i loved going to school there. i can say many good things about that place. and keep in mind it can happen ANYWARE! many of us ask ourselves why him?.. why Larry? he was a harmless inoccent adolesant may he rest in peace and Larry you will always be in my toughts and prayers! god bless you and youre family!

I am so sorry for your loss. Larry was clearly a very courageous, and very well-loved, young person.
I went tonight to the memorial vigil here in Washington, D.C. with friends from the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Sangha of the Insight Meditation Community of Washington (Vipassana Bhuddist meditation).
Just know that many hearts go out to you, and pray for you, and many hearts are touched by the loss of little Larry.

It is so heartbreaking for something this tragic to happen to anyone, let alone anyone as young as Larry. It's just so senseless, too -- he wasn't harming anyone, he was trying to discover himself, and what right does ANYONE have to prevent someone from living a peaceful life the way they choose to live it? My hope is that the perp thinks of Larry every day and agonizes over how he senselessly killed a little boy. My heart goes out to Larry's friends and relatives; in time, I know you'll just remember the good times instead of what just happened -- support each other and love each other. The closeness of family ties nnd friendship will carry you through these tough times. In loving memory of Larry...
