It is so heartbreaking for something this tragic to happen to anyone, let alone anyone as young as Larry. It's just so senseless, too -- he wasn't harming anyone, he was trying to discover himself, and what right does ANYONE have to prevent someone from living a peaceful life the way they choose to live it? My hope is that the perp thinks of Larry every day and agonizes over how he senselessly killed a little boy. My heart goes out to Larry's friends and relatives; in time, I know you'll just remember the good times instead of what just happened -- support each other and love each other. The closeness of family ties nnd friendship will carry you through these tough times. In loving memory of Larry...

I am so deeply sorry for your loss. I have read some of the beautiful things others have stated and their support. I know that nothing can take away the senselessness of what happened. I just wanted you to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers and I feel as if this happened to my family member. We are all relations.

sending healing thoughts to the school and community. i am heart broken looking at all the photos of Larry, this beautiful young boy. thanks to the people who put this memorial site together. i am sending a donation to the Southern Poverty Law Center and the Simon Wiesenthal Center for Tolerance, both organizations who do an excellent job of teaching tolerance to students and adults. We need more parents involved with their children, more education and more play/creative/arts in schools and daily life. sending LOVE & PEACE to all of those who grieve.

I am sorry to Larry's family that we as a people could not accept each others differences in time to save one of own. I am sorry that I did not fight harder against those that shunned me in high school as I could've saved a life. No child should EVER fall victim to the ignorance of others. When will you see that we are not so different.

My thoughts are with those who were lucky enough to know this courageous boy. Though his murder was fueled by hate, even in death he is bringing hope to others through both the donation of his organs and his bravery to speak the truth about himself at such a young age. Even those of us who didn't know him can learn a lot from his example.

Just being right up the street from this horrible thing that happened to larry, who was respectively nothing but an innocent young boy who was who he was, and wasnt afraid to show it, truly scared me. and all day I thought to myself I hope he can survive this. though he didnt survive he touched so many hearts in so many ways and he opened the eyes of so many people especially the public, and i would like to thank him for that. i did not know larry personally but he has taught me to love who i am and not to change for anybody...God bless to the King Family...my prayer goes out to you all. R.I.P. LARRY KING

I am so sorry for your loss. It's hard to believe that a child can do something so horrible to another child. My heart goes out to all of Larry's family members and friends.
