The joy, light and happiness in Larry's face are remarkable in the video. I have tears on my face for the loss of your dear friend and family member. May Spirit ease your suffering and you find new ways to honor, cherish and make meaningful the life of young Larry. ~Love and Light to you~

I went to a temple yesterday to celebrate the passing of a young man I knew; he was too young to die.
As I lit the incense, I thought of all of the people in my life that had died and of the ones that I would mourn if they pass before me.
I didn't know Larry and still I am sorry, so sorry, that his personal bravery will not be rewarded.
He paid a price he shouldn't have for being who he was.
I salute his memory and his courage...

Like many out there I am deeply affected by the loss of this beautiful young person, who stood up and said its OK to be different, but as we have found out, sadly, there are still some that still say it is not. Everytime I think about Larry I break down and cry, to think of never having a chance to meet this wonderful young person, what he might have been, it is so traggic, so terribly wrong for any life to be ended this way. Maybe because he has shown the bravery that I do not have in going full time, coming out at work and risk losing my job. Selfishly I hope there will be renewed efforts for protections for anyone who is different, I am ashamed for that.
My thoughts are with Lawrence, his family, friends, and anyone his life has touched. I think he must have been a very special person indeed, again, I am very sad that I will never meet him; perhaps, in another life.

God bless you and keep you, Larry! big big hug and eternal love. I would have walked you to school every day. I will do my best to try and dissolve MY remaining prejudices and fears, and to be the very best person I can be, even in the face of adversity and unpopularity. Hans

I offer my sincere condolences to Larry's family, friends, teachers, and all who knew and loved him. May his openness and honesty about his sexuality be an inspiration to other young people. And may his tragic exit from this life serve as a lesson to those who taught young men like Brandon how to hate. When will America learn to see our similarities with and celebrate our differences from any minority?

I was devastated by the news, having grown up surfing and loving the Oxnard Ventura area, and being gay myself.
Deeply moved and encouraged by your loving family, the beauty in which you raised him, and the community's response to.
Bless you all.

"Because I have loved life, I shall have no sorrow to die"
Beautiful Larry lived his life. Loud and Proud.
The world needs to recognize that youth are sexual beings. Education against homophobia, and transgender crimes is crucial to the development of civilization.
Only when we are no longer afraid do we begin to live.
