My heart breaks every time I see this child on the news. This world that we live in is so wrong,it's backwards. I have two children of my own and cry and pray everyday. I will pray for Larry and his family. I will continue to do my part as a parent to teach my children about all walks of life and to be kind to those they come by no matter what. God gave us the ability to be different and unique so why bother people for being different. I pray you all are well.

Please except our deepest wishes for you to have peace come into your life. God had a need for another angel and he only takes the best. My 9 year old had you in his prayers last night. He said he will be nice to everyone and teach his freinds in class who tease him that he is just like them. My son said it right, we as parents need to educate our children and lead by example. We should love and respect all. I hope parents learn from this tragidy. I know I have. God bless you and never forget the love your child felt for you. no one can take that away.

How can a 14-year old boy hate someone so much? Thank you for the beautiful video story of Larrys short but honest life. My deepest symphathies to Larrys family and friends.

Wow. I found out about this today, and I was horrified. This comes one day after great news. Yesterday, my friend was elected homecoming king at his high school. He is gay and held his boyfriend's hand in front of the whole school. There is hope. One day the world will be better and we will all live in peace. I'm so sorry for you loss. Larry seems to have been a wonderful boy and I can't imagine your pain. You are in my thoughts. Love, Celeste in Michigan

my sadness over the death of this beautiful child is over welming. To the family: use your love of Larry to find an inner strength you have no idea is within you. Breath....one day, an hour, or minute at a time. You have the world to hold you up when you think you can't do it any longer. We are here for you even though you might not see us, hear us or feel us. We are here. Larry will find his way to you too. We love you.

I am so deeply saddened by this, I so wish I had a chance to meet you Larry, I'm sure you were a beautiful person, and unfortunately you had to suffer at the hands of ignorant people. No more though, I believe that you are in the presence of your maker, and Lord and Savior who gave his life because he loved you, and Larry, may I say you did not die in vain, and the entire world knows now, and we all wish we had another chance to show you love. Rest in Peace my brother. Helen

My heart aches for your loss. My little brother hung himself almost 20 years ago. He was gay and suffered mistreatment by his peers for many years. What happened to Larry could easily have happened to him. Your son will remain in my thoughts & prayers. He will not be forgotten.

You were my friend, I will never forget you. I will always remember your smiling face in the morning when you would say hello. Everytime I see a butterfly, I will always think of you. You, are my friend.
