My heart grieves for the loss of this innocent child and his family. Larry went though so much in his life here on earth, and now he is in a better place.
Im at a loss for words, Larry was a very sweet kid and was ALWAYS smiling
and now, he smiles from up above.

To the family, to the friends--no other words but I am so terribly sorry. The pain never goes away but I hope the love and support you receive, the chance that Larry's death may wake many people up--I hope these things, in some small way, will help.

I'm sorry for your loss. It is a shame and sad that someone so young and beautifully spirited had to endure this. This should be a wake up call that this violence needs to stop.
Once again I am sorry for your loss and your family are in my prayers.

This is my Second Posting: First one I did not mention family members:
Therefore, to Greg (Dad), Dawn (Mom) and Rockey (Brother) stand firm and keep the faith and maybe your reward in heaven one day will be great.
Rockey, awesome job! I remember how you out swam your brother in Huma!
Greg, the time spent with your boys in Yuma and Mexico is priceless.
Keep the faith and help Dawn stay strong!

Hi Larry. I never met you, never even heard of you until 20 or so minutes ago, but I try to help kids like you, kids like me. I wish the world had been better for you. I wish you had a full-time niche, a place where anyone would hold your hand on those sad days, sing you a song they wrote last night, tell you their secrets and listen to yours. I'm glad you knew parts of yourself so well because you and I both know it takes a long time for a lot of people like us. Thank you so much for existing in spite of the consequences; your death, and more importantly your life, make people think, bring emotions out of the grey areas, lead to change, I'm sure of it. Thank you. Thank you thank you thank you. You remind me of why I do what I do.

I am honestly saddened about this. I am sorry for your loss. I am gay as well, and to see this is upsetting. Hope that wherever he is now, that it is a better place, with no discrimination or any negativity. I wish you well.

My deepest condolences for Larry's family and I am still in shock that this has happened to such a sweet boy who lived so close to me and my family. He is in my prayers as is his family.

i don't live near you, but my grandparents and my aunt, uncle, and 13 year old cousin all live in Los Angeles County. Grandparents in Santa Paula, and my cousin lives in Ventura, by Ojai road.
its because of this that i feel somewhat connected to this situation, besides the fact that i am a teenager dealing with homophobia in the intolerant south.
i am so sorry for your loss, and though my religion may not be the same as yours, i know that your son was a wonderful person and i give the best to him on his journey.
