May God's arms be around you during this time. My family's thoughts and prayers are with you and yours. May tolerance and love spread through the world so that Larry's death be not in vain.

I know too many gay men who denied their truth out of fear of rejection for way too many years, denying themselves the dignity and respect they always deserved. By this wonderful tribute website and the love and caring of people world wide, this brave young man's loss will not be in vain. May you live free, young Larry.

I was sent a link about Larry's death by a friend. It made me so angry and so sad that this sort of prejudice is STILL very much alive in our world today. I sent the link onto as many people as I could.
One thing in particular struck me about Larry as I was reading about him. For someone who was so young, he already seemed to know who he was and was living HIS life with courage and dignity. I commend him for his strength of self. Larry lived up to his name - he was a KING among men. I hope his family can survive this loss & know Larry's spirit will always be with them. RIP Larry.

Hello,
I am writing this short email sending my deepest sympathy on the death of your son.
As a gay male who is out,I promise to fight for your son and that his death is not meaningless.
I will be sending out this email to all my friends and New York State politicians and local news station to find out why this was in the news.
Please know that our community does care and will figth for all the victims of hate crimes and that Justice will win over evil.
Sincerely,

To the family and friends of Larry King. I am tearfully sorry for the loss of your child. Ever since this happened it has made me angry and sad and not one day has past I have not thought of larry's senseless death. I wish that parents would instill value for another human life in their children. Why are parents letting their children think that another persons life is meaningless? Children are taught and they learn by what they see.As parents we need to intervine in every part of our childrens lives.Parents are responsible for their childrens actions. Not until they are 18 but for the rest of their lives.Larry was a person, human being, friend, son and god's given life.He deserved the same respect and way of life everyone in this world wants. Why was it taken from him? I know Larry is with God but we as a community on this earth can not stop teaching are children right from wrong, ever!Parents teach your children the meaning of human life.So that Larry's life and death was not in vain.

It seems to me that God chooses some really special people to teach others about tolerance and diversity. The bottom line is lets love each other just as we are. Learn to accept each other for our differences and embrace those differences. In Larry's short life, he has already made a huge difference in his community. What a legacy! Let's keep his memory alive by our actions and learn to love each other.

I cannot fathom the depths of sorrow you all must be experiencing right now. I did not know Larry, but this tragedy is one that touches us all. The thought of a life so full of potential cut so short is devastating to each and every person in our society. And the violence and intolerance this stemmed from hurts all of us. I wish you what comfort you can find in these terribly troubled times.
