This is such a tragedy. As a parent it make me sad to know Larrys parents will never see him become the great man he set out to be...May you rest in peace Larry

I'm so sorry for your family and his friends. It is terrible that a young child with so much potential has been taken away by hate. I wish you all peace and hope that justice will come for Lawrence.

To the King Family: My deepest condolences to you for your tragic loss. Your son, Larry, has taught me that we must never give up when faced with adversity, whatever that may be. He was true to himself, even though others were cruel to him. As a mother, I have taught and will continue to teach my child tolerance for all people. Because as a parent we must be axamples for our children. We must now work harder in this effort to erase the hate that some people choose to feel and put the pressure on our schools to keep our children safe from bullying. I pray that you will find comfort in knowing that your child has done so much to bring awareness about these types of issues. May God bless him and may he find the comfort and acceptance he was not always able to find here.

Our deepest sympathy and condolences to the King family. I just do not understand that even school administrators are accepting that this kind of tragedy is now a part of our school/society ! It is a shame to hear that on national TV. We must all stop this, parents and school must educate their children good manners, good conduct and teach them to accept a person for who they are. Not to instill in them hate, just like the parents of this murderer!!!

My heartfelt condolences go out to your family...I just can't believe this has happened! Your son was supposed to have his whole life ahead of him...what gives anyone the right to decide what is right & wrong & who should live or die??? He was a child going through puberty & all those changes that everyone of us, go through in middle school. He should have had the chance to become whomever he wanted to...unfortunately, this other "misguided & evil" child will have every chance...I hope not! Anyway, your son was beautiful & I know he didn't die in vain...he is going to make change & hopefully teach us all something! Our prayers are with you & Larry.
