hello, i just saw the story on worldstarhiphop.com, and i found it very sad. i just wanted to say gays are people too. im not gay, but my bestfriend is and i stand with him not behind him in public. i think people that are homophobic aren't sue about there sexuality. as for the little boy who did this he deserves to rot in jail. im sorry, i know this is a little 14-year-old boy but if he is doing at this age just take a guess what he will be doing when he grows up. i hope he does every bit of that 50 years. and if he is not gay, he will be when he gets out!

Godbless the family of Larry and himself. Larry was just an angel that was too marvelous for this world so God just called him home. It's truly remarkable how ignorance can be stored in children soooo young. Life is a beautiful gift and for a gift to be stolen so soon is down right sad. I personally have never met Larry but this story touched me, I just feel that God loves everyone. And I know Larry can be himself with God.

It is sad that violence and people in this world believe that they can change someone or something themselves. I know that you are smiling down on your family and that you dont have to worry about the negativity, now you can live in peace and harmony. I feel for your family, they did not ask for someone to take their child away so early. RIP Larry

I currently work as a Social Worker with Transgender and LGB young people. I am a gay man and so sad that still to this day beautiful young people have to suffer in a horrific way Larry did. I wish the family my deepest sympathies. Larry life story will remain in my heart forever. May his beautiful soul rest in peace. Yusef xx

I currently work with middle school students and Larry's story touched my heart. Everyday I teach my kids that I work with how special everyone is. Larry is a special person who embraced himself and I truly admire that. I will pass on Larry's story to my children and hopefully it touches their lives as well. Larry's passing will leave a legacy to be yourself.

it's now 2010 - and this is the world we've come to live in...reading about an innocent youngster's life ending at the hands of another angry youngster. Only education can change the way young people deal with life-issues to be productive/caring adults. It's so true that children learn what they live... our society needs more psychological education and family intervention to reduce turmoil of the mind.

I just got out the hospital from losing my baby.I was 7 months pregnant.I saw the story on the news while I layed in the hospital bed.My heart is with you all.Unfourtanely,we live in a very ignorant narrow minded society.Where anything different is outcasted.I can tell Larry was a beautiful human. Its sad we have to hear about wonderful people in these ways.My prayers are with you.

I'm so sorry for your loss this has to be one of the hardest things to deal with still even two years later. Your son, nephew, brother, grandson, looked like he was a sweetheart. May god rest his soul and bless your family

My prayers are with his family. I feel horrible that crimes like this take place. God created us ALL equal! HE made no mistakes. Everyone is born with a purpose in life and no one has a right to judge another. We all deserve to live in peace and be happy with who we are inside and out. I am so very sorry for the family's loss and for Larry's torment. We should all learn from this and take it to heart that people have a right to be who they are and feel free to express it. I didn't personally know Larry, but I have love in my heart for him as I do everyone. He was a human being created from and through love. GOD BLESS!

I am so very sorry for your loss. It is a grave injustice that stories like Larry's are still an issue in the 21st century. I pray that one day the people of this nation will stand up together and fight for the rights of each citizen.
