My heart aches for you Larry. There are many Larry's in my family. All strugling just to be who we are. I didn't know you personally, but my heart knows you well. I feel a great loss without you here, but because of your sacrifice, maybe, just maybe we can finally be who we are, God's creation. God doesn't make mistakes. And when he made you and me and all the others He made us in His likeness. With love, compassion, purpose. We can though be the best we can be and love others no matter how badly they treat us. You have made a great impression upon me Larry, I will always remember you, your courage, your strength, your love, and I know you nolonger have the pain you had to endure and I can hardly wait to meet you in heaven because I know the Lord has His hand upon you now. Thank you also for giving life to those who will never get to know you. My brother was a doner and his heart went to a 15 year old girl, who now has life and purpose. Your death was not invain. I will miss you always

Greg,
I was so shocked to hear the news firstoff, because I am an alumnus of E.O. Green, and then when I found out at work it was your son, I was completely devastated. My sincerest condolences from myself and my family on the loss of your son, Larry. This was simply a senseless crime that never should have happened, let alone in a school environment.
Please let me know if you need any assistance during your time of loss.
Sincerely,
S.P. Navarro

Such a tragedy to die for being one's self. Hate and bigotry are easier to come by than love and understanding. That is why we must all strive to teach love and acceptance, to replace those lesser, baser aspects of our Humanity with understanding.
My thoughts are with those that have been affected by such evil. Even though he is gone we can use his story to appeal to the hearts of those that are full of hate. And maybe, just maybe those hearts will be changed. And those hearts that will not soften due to the death of an innocent must be held accountable for their evil speech and actions. They have every right to say what they will, but we must be the louder chorus. Let us drown out the hate.
"And even in our sleep pain that cannot forget falls drop by drop upon the heart, and in our own despair, against our will, comes wisdom to us by the awful grace of God."
