I am deeply sorry. You are in my thoughts and heart. We have all lost more than anyone can know, through this tragic death. I commit myself to continuing to struggle to eradicate violence against teens who do question gender norms. I will always remember Lawrence and will act to make his memory count.

You know that was a really bad thing that happened to Larry but it also was good that we let him go so he doesn't have to suffer the pain and if you think about it Larry is in a much better place. I give condolences to Larry's parents. I would also like to say that we're all different in our own way so we should try to accept people no matter what lifestyle they choose. Let's be more tolerant of other lifestyles. Let's remember John Lennon's song Imagine and think about the words in the song. Rest in Peace Larry King May his death let us stop and think of better ways to live in this world.

My sympathies are with Larry's family and friends. Someday, such violence against someone, simply because of who they are, will not be tolerated. Life is too short to waste so un-necessarily. Peace!

Lawrence was a young man whose tragic death took him from his friends and family will shake people from their complacency. I will personally fight to protect the gay and bisexual students in my building and encourage all teachers to do the same. Rest in peace, Lawrence. Your loss is truly saddening to us all.
