I may not have known him, but Lawrence King was one of the bravest people on the face of the planet. He stood his ground and not once did he regret doing so. It is a horrible tragedy that he had to die just because he was different than everyone else.
At times like this, I ask myself, what has the world come to that people are killed over their sexuality and beliefs?
We, meaning the world, need to get over our petty differences and stop judging people by every little thing that isn't like what we do or are. Lawrence knew this too, and unfortunately, he had to die for it.
Lawrence will always and forever live on in our hearts and minds, and we will never forget him, nor will we forget the sacrifice he had to make in order to just be himself.
RIP Lawrence King, may you rest in peace and find what you were looking for in Heaven.

I'm sorry Larry that you died so young and just because you are who you are. The world is so full of hate and hopefully you are at peace wherever you are.

my heart goes out with you, larry, as i read your story, can't help but cry and it feels so sad knowing at such a young age, you're brave enough to show them who really you are at the expense of your life..May you rest in peace, you will always be remembered..Jesus loves you..
