I saw your story and it broke my heart. I have a son and I can't imagine. You were someone's child and God's creation.
I pray for your family.

I am very sorry for the loss of this sweet child. Bullying is never acceptable by any means. I wish that as a human society we could learn to accept everyone regardless of race, creed, religion or sexual orientation. He was a beautiful child. I know he was very loved and is very missed. My heart goes out to the family and to Larry. His legacy and life was not in vain. Wake up America! Guns in school? When will the violence and madness stop. To Larry's mother, my heart goes out to you. I am the mother of an 8 year old girl who is my life and world! May God Continue to Bless and watch over you and your family; and May God keep his arms around Larry!

I was completely shocked by the shooting of Larry. I didn't know him, but I know his story. He had the courage to come out at such a young age and to be who he really was. I wish I could have done the same. Larry will live on in my memories, our memories, forever.

Just saw this story on CNN. What a terrible tragedy. My sympathies go out to Larry's family and friends. For LGBT people of all ages, stay strong and hopeful. We'll win this fight, together, in the end.

I just saw Larry's story on Anderson Cropper 360 and it brought tears to my eyes. I am sorry for you're lost and it hurts me deeply to think that ppl are still very ignorant. I too had a very rough time in school for being fem! For all the young ones that are reading this... be who you are! Don't hide and don't be afraid of who you are, we are not a mistake.. God makes no mistakes! 1 lOVE!

I never met Larry. I didn't know who he was until I turned on CNN tonight. And even though I never met him, and had only been aware of him for 2 min, he made me cry. My tears were a mixture of feelings. Happiness that such a courageous young man had been alive, however breifly. Anger that someone could have done that to another person. Fear that it could happen to any one of my many gay friends. Sadness that this world still has so little understanding. Love for Larry's family and all families who support their children, gay, straight, bisexual, transgendered... And Hope. Hope that Larry's story will continue to inspire people to be more accepting, understanding, and less hateful to one another.
I will pray for Larry's family tonight, I will pray for all the magnificent children who are like Larry, and all of the families of those children. May they all be proud of who they are. And I pray that wherever Larry is, he is proud of who he was and the life he lived. God Bless.
