This is on of the reasons I am currently persuing a degree in Child Psychology. I want to help children who are being bullied in school and prevent outcomes like these. I am very sorry for your loss. I may not have known Larry but I cried when I read his story. Justice will prevail for this Angel up in heaven smiling down on his family and wrappiing them in his wings.

I saw your story and it broke my heart. I have a son and I can't imagine. You were someone's child and God's creation. I pray for your family.

I am very sorry for the loss of this sweet child. Bullying is never acceptable by any means. I wish that as a human society we could learn to accept everyone regardless of race, creed, religion or sexual orientation. He was a beautiful child. I know he was very loved and is very missed. My heart goes out to the family and to Larry. His legacy and life was not in vain. Wake up America! Guns in school? When will the violence and madness stop. To Larry's mother, my heart goes out to you. I am the mother of an 8 year old girl who is my life and world! May God Continue to Bless and watch over you and your family; and May God keep his arms around Larry!

I use to baby sit Rocky and Larry I am so sad to hear about Larry. I moved from Oxnard in 2005. Both of these boys were GOD's gift. If only someone would have paid more attention and show them some AGAPE LOVE

I was completely shocked by the shooting of Larry. I didn't know him, but I know his story. He had the courage to come out at such a young age and to be who he really was. I wish I could have done the same. Larry will live on in my memories, our memories, forever.

Just saw this story on CNN. What a terrible tragedy. My sympathies go out to Larry's family and friends. For LGBT people of all ages, stay strong and hopeful. We'll win this fight, together, in the end.

I just saw Larry's story on Anderson Cropper 360 and it brought tears to my eyes. I am sorry for you're lost and it hurts me deeply to think that ppl are still very ignorant. I too had a very rough time in school for being fem! For all the young ones that are reading this... be who you are! Don't hide and don't be afraid of who you are, we are not a mistake.. God makes no mistakes! 1 lOVE!
